[01:24.000 --> 01:30.000] Traffic jams, clogged Baghdad streets as cars wait to pass through the city's innumerable checkpoints. [02:05.000 --> 02:17.000] Somalia's Prime Minister Abdi Weli Mohammed Ali says the world's aid agencies have become lords of poverty and their claim that famine has struck Somalia's capital is absolutely false. [02:17.000 --> 02:28.000] Ali, who leads Somalia's officially recognized government, chose the week when the UN has appealed for $1.5 billion to help his country's people to deliver a stinging attack on relief workers. [02:28.000 --> 02:36.000] The Harvard Educator Economist believes they have become an entrenched interest group, exaggerating the scale of suffering in order to drum up donations. [03:25.000 --> 03:34.000] Bad boys, what you want, what you're going, what you're going to do? When every son comes for you? [03:36.000 --> 03:41.000] Tell me, what you're going to do, what you're going to do? [03:41.000 --> 03:55.000] Bad boys, what you're going to do, what you're going to do when they come for you? [03:55.000 --> 04:01.000] When you were eight and you had bad trees, you'd go to school and earn the gold and lose. [04:01.000 --> 04:17.000] So why are you acting like a bloody fool if you took it and you're just cool? Bad boys, what you're going to do, what you're going to do when they come for you? [04:17.000 --> 04:29.000] Bad boys, what you're going to do, what you're going to do when they come for you? [04:29.000 --> 04:36.000] All right, bad boys, bad boys, what are you going to do when we come for you here on the rule of law? [04:36.000 --> 04:45.000] Ruleoflawradio.com is our website. We are introducing a new website tonight that we're going to be talking about. [04:45.000 --> 04:54.000] Tonight is Thursday, December 8th, 2011, and folks, it is here at long last. [04:54.000 --> 05:01.000] The new website. Actually, we're going to have two new websites. We're going to be revamping ruleoflawradio.com. [05:01.000 --> 05:11.000] Also, I'm going to introduce our new webmaster in just a moment here, but just as a prelude to this entire discussion about the website and the transition, [05:11.000 --> 05:18.000] and why are we doing this, why am I doing this, why the change of the name and of the network and all these sorts of things. [05:18.000 --> 05:27.000] Just to back up a bit, this show, Ruleoflawradio, used to be on another network, which many of you know. [05:27.000 --> 05:36.000] That was We the People Radio Network. That network was not able to continue for financial reasons and other reasons, and so that network shut down. [05:36.000 --> 05:50.000] At that time, we at Randy and I set up a website for our show, just for our show, the Rule of Law Radio show, and that website, of course, that URL, ruleoflawradio.com. [05:50.000 --> 05:55.000] That website was specifically designated to our show and our show only at the time. [05:55.000 --> 06:09.000] Well, after the WTPRN went down, a few months went by, I was contacted by one of the former owners, and he helped me get our show back up on the air, Randy and I. [06:09.000 --> 06:17.000] And so we started streaming our own show. I was producing, wasn't a network at the time, it was just our show. [06:17.000 --> 06:23.000] I was producing a show just putting ourselves back on the air, streaming from ruleoflawradio.com. [06:23.000 --> 06:29.000] Well, as time started to progress, we decided we wanted to add more shows. [06:29.000 --> 06:35.000] We wanted to bring some of the hosts back on the air from WTPRN and some new hosts also. [06:35.000 --> 06:43.000] It was never my intention to name the new network after my own show for many reasons. [06:43.000 --> 06:55.000] I think it's kind of self-aggrandizing to name a network after my own show for one thing, and for another thing, not all the shows on the network are about law and legal issues. [06:55.000 --> 07:04.000] And so it's kind of misrepresentative to call the network, ruleoflawradio network, when not all the shows are about law. [07:04.000 --> 07:14.000] In fact, it does cause a degree of confusion. We get callers calling into other shows a lot of the time that aren't listening at the time, [07:14.000 --> 07:20.000] and they just think that that's the call-in number for us and to ask anybody any legal question whenever they want. [07:20.000 --> 07:33.000] And so there is some confusion there. I wanted to have something, a name that was more all-inclusive, more expansive, and more in line with my spiritual themes. [07:33.000 --> 07:41.000] And so what I had decided way back then was that I wanted to call the new network, the Logos Radio Network. [07:41.000 --> 07:52.000] And where that word comes from, Logos, it's the Greek word for the word, word, of all things, but it has several different meanings. [07:52.000 --> 08:04.000] It means word, it means God, it means truth, and where it comes from, where I got it from was Bible verse in John, John 1-1, [08:04.000 --> 08:10.000] in the beginning was the Logos, and the Logos was with God, and the Logos was God. [08:10.000 --> 08:18.000] He is His word. He is the truth, and this network, and our message is all about spreading the word of truth, [08:18.000 --> 08:23.000] about what's really going on and spreading the word of God because He is His word. [08:23.000 --> 08:26.000] He is the truth. Jesus said, I'm the way, the truth, and the life. [08:26.000 --> 08:35.000] And so that's why I wanted to name the network Logos Radio Network because we are the truth tellers, and that is in line with our Christian faith. [08:35.000 --> 08:47.000] However, at the time, I was not able to build a website for the new network because I was spending all my time producing the shows. [08:47.000 --> 08:52.000] And maintaining equipment and all these sorts of things. [08:52.000 --> 09:02.000] I did the best I could at the time with the website ruleoflawradio.com, but I just could not build another website, a professional website. [09:02.000 --> 09:07.000] I mean, it would take time for me to have to learn how to do it, which I could, but I just didn't have the time. [09:07.000 --> 09:09.000] I have to deal with the sponsors, all these things. [09:09.000 --> 09:18.000] And so just by default, we just started, you know, just adding shows onto the ruleoflawradio.com website, [09:18.000 --> 09:22.000] but it was never my intention to call the network Rule of Law Radio Network. [09:22.000 --> 09:32.000] It just sort of evolved that way as I was waiting and praying and searching and seeking for a webmaster to help me. [09:32.000 --> 09:42.000] And finally, the Lord answered my prayers in his time, and he brought me Eric Sayward, founder of We Are Changed Wisconsin, [09:42.000 --> 09:45.000] and he is a master webmaster, I must say. [09:45.000 --> 09:48.000] He's been working very hard. [09:48.000 --> 09:57.000] All of your donations and contributions a few months ago, and we did the money bomb for the website, has gone to good use, I should say. [09:57.000 --> 10:03.000] Eric has been working very hard over the last several months, especially the last several weeks, and we are ready to launch. [10:03.000 --> 10:12.000] We have launched the beta version of the new website, and folks, you can go there right now, LogosRadioNetwork.com, [10:12.000 --> 10:14.000] and you can check out the beta version. [10:14.000 --> 10:17.000] And we have a lot of great features. [10:17.000 --> 10:25.000] People can sign up to be members and participate in a chat room and there's social networking and all these great aspects. [10:25.000 --> 10:33.000] And so I'm going to turn it over to Eric now so that Eric can talk about the website and what all you can get when you become a member and these sorts of things. [10:33.000 --> 10:35.000] So Eric, thank you, and welcome to the show. [10:35.000 --> 10:36.000] Thank you. [10:36.000 --> 10:38.000] Thank you very much, Deborah. [10:38.000 --> 10:39.000] Apologize for my voice. [10:39.000 --> 10:43.000] I think I'm coming down with the laryngitis. [10:43.000 --> 10:51.000] I guess it's byproduct of lack of sleep as well as the cold weather that we have up here in Wisconsin right now. [10:51.000 --> 10:56.000] Yeah, I'm really proud to be a part of this project. [10:56.000 --> 10:58.000] As you know, I've been a truther for a while. [10:58.000 --> 11:02.000] I've been in this movement for several years. [11:02.000 --> 11:09.000] I've got a lot of really good friends that I've met in this movement. [11:09.000 --> 11:21.000] People like Kevin Barrett, Matt LePasic from the We Are Change New York chapter, the guys from Minnesota, the guys from Chicago. [11:21.000 --> 11:26.000] I'm really active in the community and we've done a lot of really wonderful things. [11:26.000 --> 11:37.000] And I was at a point where I was trying to get more work and I posted something on Facebook and Chris Emery messaged me and said that you needed a website. [11:37.000 --> 11:41.000] And I went and looked at the website that you had currently. [11:41.000 --> 11:43.000] And then we kind of corresponded from there. [11:43.000 --> 11:59.000] So I'm proud today to say that all of this has transpired to the point where we're actually ready to start playing around and see what little changes we need to make, how we can improve this. [11:59.000 --> 12:07.000] And when you said your prayers were answered, it's funny because I was thinking the same thing. [12:07.000 --> 12:14.000] We went to church last Sunday and I felt the calling that I wasn't doing enough for this movement. [12:14.000 --> 12:22.000] And I spent all these hours over the last year doing little websites just to keep the lights on. [12:22.000 --> 12:33.000] And I felt like God gave me these talents and I need to put them to work to do this fight against this massive evil in the world. [12:33.000 --> 12:36.000] And I have done some truth websites. [12:36.000 --> 12:42.000] I did the Muslims for 9-11 Truth and I'm going to be working with Kevin Barrett's new website as well in the future. [12:42.000 --> 12:52.000] I've launched the beta test version of truthertools.com, which is an invite-only thing if you want to get invited. [12:52.000 --> 12:54.000] Just send me an email and tell me who you are. [12:54.000 --> 12:57.000] It's too powerful to fall into the wrong hands. [12:57.000 --> 13:06.000] And this Logos Radio Network is a beautiful tool for me because it allows your listeners to realize how many other listeners there are. [13:06.000 --> 13:16.000] And we can network together and we can work together and we can join forces because the enemy is so well-prepared, so highly funded, [13:16.000 --> 13:20.000] and they have all the technology in the world. [13:20.000 --> 13:22.000] But you know what? [13:22.000 --> 13:26.000] We have the truth on our side and we have God on our side. [13:26.000 --> 13:32.000] All we need to do is organize and work together and we can beat these people. [13:32.000 --> 13:35.000] And so that's why I'm so proud to be a part of this. [13:35.000 --> 13:39.000] Well, Eric, we're very proud and thankful for you to be a part of it. [13:39.000 --> 13:41.000] We really, really appreciate it. [13:41.000 --> 13:46.000] And folks, yes, if you would please go to LogosRadioNetwork.com. [13:46.000 --> 13:51.000] That is going to be the new homepage for the network. [13:51.000 --> 13:59.000] We are also going to be revamping RuleofLawRadio.com, but we are going to be making the transition to Logos Radio Network.com. [13:59.000 --> 14:03.000] That's where everyone is going to need to go from now on to listen to the show. [14:03.000 --> 14:08.000] I'm going to take the links to the stream off of RuleofLawRadio.com. [14:08.000 --> 14:15.000] That's just going to be, that's going to go, we're going to bring that page back to its original intention, [14:15.000 --> 14:20.000] which was just to be the page for our show, for me and Randy and Eddie's show. [14:20.000 --> 14:26.000] And that page will be more devoted to research tools, legal research tools. [14:26.000 --> 14:31.000] But as far as the network is concerned in the radio, it's going to be LogosRadioNetwork.com. [14:31.000 --> 14:33.000] And yes, it's going to be fantastic. [14:33.000 --> 14:35.000] I've been getting requests for years. [14:35.000 --> 14:38.000] People want to be able to network with each other. [14:38.000 --> 14:39.000] Callers call in. [14:39.000 --> 14:43.000] Is there anybody else in this state that's doing this or that listens to you guys? [14:43.000 --> 14:44.000] And we don't know. [14:44.000 --> 14:49.000] I mean, we had a forum for a while, but I had to take it down because I wasn't able to moderate it. [14:49.000 --> 14:51.000] And it was getting out of control. [14:51.000 --> 14:57.000] And now we're not going to have those kinds of problems anymore because people, [14:57.000 --> 15:01.000] if they want to make posts on the forum, which is not set up yet, [15:01.000 --> 15:07.000] we're going to have another forum where we're going to have all of the categories like for civil, [15:07.000 --> 15:12.000] criminal, separated out by federal and state, traffic tickets, these sorts of things. [15:12.000 --> 15:18.000] People have to be members and so we'll know who you are if you make rogue postings, [15:18.000 --> 15:21.000] which people are not likely to do that are listeners. [15:21.000 --> 15:23.000] It was some shills coming in. [15:23.000 --> 15:25.000] But there's also a wall. [15:25.000 --> 15:27.000] There's a Facebook type of wall. [15:27.000 --> 15:32.000] People can sign up and when you become a member, you can have your own personal profile. [15:32.000 --> 15:37.000] Now, each personal profile page doesn't have a wall like on Facebook. [15:37.000 --> 15:39.000] There's only going to be one wall. [15:39.000 --> 15:42.000] But again, you have to be a member to post on the wall. [15:42.000 --> 15:46.000] You don't have to be a member to read the wall, but you have to be a member to post [15:46.000 --> 15:48.000] and there's also going to be a chat room. [15:48.000 --> 15:49.000] And the chat room is active. [15:49.000 --> 15:50.000] Not going to be. [15:50.000 --> 15:51.000] There is. [15:51.000 --> 15:54.000] There's a wall already and there's a chat room set up so that the listener, [15:54.000 --> 16:00.000] when they become members, they can chat with each other during the shows [16:00.000 --> 16:06.000] and discuss the shows and the host will be participating in the chat room as much as they can. [16:06.000 --> 16:10.000] I can't promise that I'm going to be monitoring the chat room and responding to everybody [16:10.000 --> 16:15.000] every second during the show because I have to produce and be on the air and talk and these things. [16:15.000 --> 16:21.000] But it will be an opportunity for people to ask questions to the host without necessarily having to call in [16:21.000 --> 16:26.000] and we may be able to respond to you during the show on the chat as well. [16:26.000 --> 16:28.000] Certainly the listeners can chat with each other. [16:28.000 --> 16:34.000] So it will be a great way for people to network and there will be more benefits as well [16:34.000 --> 16:41.000] that we're going to be discussing coming up on the other side with Eric from We Are Changed Wisconsin. [16:41.000 --> 16:42.000] We'll be right back. [16:42.000 --> 16:51.000] This is the Rule of Law show right now, ruleoflawradio.com and also logosradionetwork.com. [16:51.000 --> 16:53.000] Please visit the new page. [16:53.000 --> 16:54.000] Sign up. [16:54.000 --> 16:55.000] Become a member. [16:55.000 --> 16:56.000] Check out our site. [16:56.000 --> 17:01.000] We'll be right back on the other side. [17:01.000 --> 17:06.000] Capital Corn and Bullion is a family owned and operated business that has helped many families [17:06.000 --> 17:10.000] and friends in protecting their assets and we would like to do the same for you. [18:49.000 --> 18:57.000] That's ruleoflawradio.com or email m-i-c-h-a-e-l-m-i-r-r-a-s at yahoo.com. [18:57.000 --> 19:00.000] To learn how to stop debt collectors next. [19:11.000 --> 19:13.000] Okay, folks, we are back. [19:13.000 --> 19:15.000] This is the rule of law. [19:15.000 --> 19:19.000] We're now LogosRadioNetworks.com. [19:19.000 --> 19:23.000] That was my original intention from the beginning. [19:23.000 --> 19:28.000] We've got our website up and running, the beta version. [19:28.000 --> 19:32.000] Thanks to Eric Sayward, founder of We Are Changed Wisconsin. [19:32.000 --> 19:35.000] So please go there, sign up and become a member. [19:35.000 --> 19:48.000] And folks, listen, if you've been trying to determine how you could help us, how you could help us out, [19:48.000 --> 19:56.000] this is a wonderful way to help us because for just $3.95 a month, it's not very much. [19:56.000 --> 20:04.000] You can participate in the chats and social networking with the other members and all these sorts of things. [20:04.000 --> 20:07.000] And you will support rule of law radio networks. [20:07.000 --> 20:10.000] So, Eric, you want to go over that? [20:10.000 --> 20:11.000] Sure, Deborah. [20:11.000 --> 20:15.000] You know, this is a symbiotic relationship between the network and the listeners. [20:15.000 --> 20:20.000] You know, you guys spend so much of your time helping people. [20:20.000 --> 20:24.000] You know, basically giving them the shirts off your back in many cases. [20:24.000 --> 20:30.000] I mean, even Randy got himself into a little fix there and just helping people. [20:30.000 --> 20:40.000] And this is their opportunity to not only give back, but to also benefit and to connect with others. [20:40.000 --> 20:46.000] Because, you know, for $3.95 a month, you get to chat directly with the other people that are listening [20:46.000 --> 20:51.000] and hopefully some of the hosts are in there. [20:51.000 --> 20:55.000] And, you know, that way you don't have to worry about being on wait with the call-ins. [20:55.000 --> 20:58.000] You can ask them questions and maybe get a response. [20:58.000 --> 21:00.000] You can post it on the wall. [21:00.000 --> 21:07.000] You can connect directly with the host and ask questions directly to their personal account. [21:07.000 --> 21:14.000] You can, and the cool thing is on the top you'll notice there's rotating banners. [21:14.000 --> 21:21.000] And the listeners then, you know, can upload banners as long as they're approved, [21:21.000 --> 21:27.000] then they can have their banners rotating for literally penny. [21:27.000 --> 21:36.000] So, it's a great way to support what you guys are doing and to give back because you've given so much. [21:36.000 --> 21:40.000] You know, and I know how it is because it seems like all the people that I know from this movement [21:40.000 --> 21:44.000] that are doing the most in front of work are the ones that have the least amount of money. [21:44.000 --> 21:50.000] And none of this stuff is free and we need to keep it funded and we need to grow it [21:50.000 --> 21:52.000] because, you know, this isn't the end. [21:52.000 --> 21:55.000] This is just the beginning. [21:55.000 --> 22:01.000] And as long as you guys on your end and me on my end can keep these lights on, [22:01.000 --> 22:07.000] this thing is going to grow out of control, you know, we're going to really do amazing things. [22:07.000 --> 22:08.000] Absolutely. [22:08.000 --> 22:11.000] I did have one minor comment. [22:11.000 --> 22:18.000] I was looking over the site and I didn't see a donation button for Randy Spearfa. [22:18.000 --> 22:20.000] No, there's not a donation for Randy Spearfa. [22:20.000 --> 22:24.000] There's not a donation section yet and there's not an archive button yet. [22:24.000 --> 22:33.000] And also there's not, if you go to the shows page, there's not a place yet where it has like show description. [22:33.000 --> 22:37.000] This is, as Eric was saying, this is just the beginning. [22:37.000 --> 22:39.000] This is just the beta version. [22:39.000 --> 22:43.000] We're going to be reorganizing the home page somewhat as well. [22:43.000 --> 22:48.000] But the way we have it right now, the host can log in to the WordPress section of the site [22:48.000 --> 22:50.000] and post news articles. [22:50.000 --> 22:54.000] If you have some interesting news articles that you'd like to see on our home page, [22:54.000 --> 22:58.000] you feel free to email us so that we can post them up there. [22:58.000 --> 23:07.000] And each host, the host will have a special login to the shows page so that the host will be able to log in [23:07.000 --> 23:15.000] and post links and describe an upcoming schedule of guests and links to frequent guests. [23:15.000 --> 23:19.000] There'll be subpages for the different guests and all these sorts of things. [23:19.000 --> 23:25.000] There'll be the donation section and everything is going to get there. [23:25.000 --> 23:27.000] But this sort of thing takes time. [23:27.000 --> 23:31.000] I mean, Eric has been programming on this site for several months now, [23:31.000 --> 23:36.000] just setting up the nuts and bolts behind the scenes to run things like the social networking [23:36.000 --> 23:41.000] and the chat and the wall and the profiles and all these things. [23:41.000 --> 23:47.000] There is even going to be an instant messaging function where folks can instant message to each other once they're logged in. [23:47.000 --> 23:51.000] And so it's going to grow and continue to get better. [23:51.000 --> 23:58.000] One of the things that I want to add to a membership benefit concerning the streams and the archives, [23:58.000 --> 24:03.000] right now we're streaming on 64K and also a 16K stream. [24:03.000 --> 24:11.000] I'm going to include as part of the membership 128K stereo stream for those of you who may listen in the headphones [24:11.000 --> 24:15.000] and you just love to hear our bumpers and high quality stereo. [24:15.000 --> 24:17.000] You'll get that as part of a membership. [24:17.000 --> 24:23.000] I'll have a higher quality archives for those who want to be members. [24:23.000 --> 24:28.000] Right now you can still get the archives for free, the 64K and 16K version, [24:28.000 --> 24:34.000] but you'll get higher quality archives and higher quality stream if you so desire for the membership package. [24:34.000 --> 24:38.000] So we're going to be having perks added all along the way. [24:38.000 --> 24:45.000] Eric's even talking about having a search engine for a case law as part of a higher level membership. [24:45.000 --> 24:49.000] So it's going to continue to grow and so we do need your support. [24:49.000 --> 24:54.000] And so, folks, please go there and register to become a member. [24:54.000 --> 24:59.000] We would really appreciate it and I think you really enjoy the new benefits. [24:59.000 --> 25:01.000] Absolutely. [25:01.000 --> 25:06.000] And the beautiful part about this is this continues to grow. [25:06.000 --> 25:12.000] And I'm really going to be excited, especially what you talked about with the legal tools [25:12.000 --> 25:16.000] that we'll be able to offer people and the sky's the limit. [25:16.000 --> 25:23.000] In fact, feel free to send me an email and tell me what you think we're missing [25:23.000 --> 25:30.000] or a way that we can improve or upgrade or even if you have questions. [25:30.000 --> 25:39.000] You can definitely email me at admin, which is A-D-M-I-N at wispin-w-i-s-b-i-n dot com. [25:39.000 --> 25:44.000] And feel free to shoot me whatever questions you have or comments or concerns. [25:44.000 --> 25:56.000] And I'd like this to grow as a community and your input is definitely a good thing. [25:56.000 --> 25:58.000] Yes, absolutely. [25:58.000 --> 26:03.000] So, Randy, have you had a chance to check out the site and poke around? [26:03.000 --> 26:04.000] What do you think? [26:04.000 --> 26:08.000] What's your ideas? [26:08.000 --> 26:12.000] Is Randy there? [26:12.000 --> 26:15.000] Somebody muted my mic again. [26:15.000 --> 26:22.000] Yes, I like it and I'm going to want to work on several of my sites. [26:22.000 --> 26:30.000] So, one of the first ones I'd like him to look at is jurisprudence and see what we can do to fix that. [26:30.000 --> 26:34.000] Get a lot of frog comments about that one. [26:34.000 --> 26:37.000] But yeah, I need a professional side. [26:37.000 --> 26:43.000] I did want to make a comment about the root of our radio site when we were setting that up. [26:43.000 --> 26:51.000] Deborah did all the work and I gave her all the unsolicited advice she could stand. [26:51.000 --> 27:01.000] And she gave all of my advice every penny's worth of value that it deserved. [27:01.000 --> 27:04.000] In other words, I didn't listen to anything you had to say. [27:04.000 --> 27:07.000] That's what I was saying. [27:07.000 --> 27:09.000] You wear so many hats. [27:09.000 --> 27:12.000] You can't do everything. [27:12.000 --> 27:16.000] You spread yourself too thin and then you start missing things. [27:16.000 --> 27:25.000] You stuff starts piling up on your desk and along comes an opportunity for you and me through a good friend of ours. [27:25.000 --> 27:29.000] And then we can both benefit and then the listeners get to benefit. [27:29.000 --> 27:39.000] And this is what happens when God's people get together and they work as a team versus this divide and conquer strategy [27:39.000 --> 27:49.000] that the New World Order and those in power have to divide us, conquer us and keep us enslaved and to engage in all the fraud [27:49.000 --> 27:54.000] and the illegal activities that they use to destroy us. [27:54.000 --> 28:02.000] Well, my real point about that was when Deborah built that site, it was a tremendous amount of work. [28:02.000 --> 28:10.000] And that was my hat off to her. That was a tremendous job in building it. [28:10.000 --> 28:16.000] And you guys, Deborah wrote this network. She created it. [28:16.000 --> 28:19.000] I'm an electrical engineer. I watched her doing it. [28:19.000 --> 28:27.000] And I was just astounded at the level of sophistication and the amount of work that she put into it. [28:27.000 --> 28:32.000] She deserves a round of applause from everyone. [28:32.000 --> 28:37.000] We would not be here without the work that Deborah did. [28:37.000 --> 28:39.000] And there was a lot of work. [28:39.000 --> 28:42.000] Well, we've all worked very hard. You've worked hard, Randy. [28:42.000 --> 28:47.000] We've all worked very hard to make this thing work and we all do what we can. [28:47.000 --> 28:49.000] And it is a lot of work. [28:49.000 --> 28:57.000] And the website is just something that I just could not keep up with and I couldn't write a professional website. [28:57.000 --> 28:58.000] I just didn't have time. [28:58.000 --> 29:03.000] I mean, it's like, do I want to make a good website or do I want to put us on the air in high quality and make it right? [29:03.000 --> 29:05.000] And so that's what I had to choose. [29:05.000 --> 29:08.000] Right. You have to pick your battles. [29:08.000 --> 29:14.000] And I'm looking, did you notice on the listen button or the listen link in the menu bar there, [29:14.000 --> 29:21.000] there's a map and it shows you the different areas from which people are listening to the show. [29:21.000 --> 29:31.000] And since we've launched this in what, half hour, the number of dots have doubled, which is really encouraging. [29:31.000 --> 29:32.000] Yes. [29:32.000 --> 29:38.000] Even though they're not signed up yet, at least they're listening and we can get encouragement from that. [29:38.000 --> 29:40.000] Exactly. [29:40.000 --> 29:44.000] All right. Well, Eric, thank you very much. We appreciate you coming on. [29:44.000 --> 29:45.000] I appreciate being on. [29:45.000 --> 29:49.000] And we appreciate everything you're doing with the website and folks. [29:49.000 --> 29:54.000] If you want Eric to do some of your web work, just send me an email and I will forward it to him. [29:54.000 --> 29:57.000] Yep. And I will give a cut to the network. [29:57.000 --> 29:59.000] All right. We'll be right back. [29:59.000 --> 30:05.000] This is Building 7, a 47-story skyscraper that fell on the afternoon of September 11th. [30:05.000 --> 30:07.000] The government says that fire brought it down. [30:07.000 --> 30:12.000] However, 1,500 architects and engineers have concluded it was a controlled demolition. [30:12.000 --> 30:15.000] Over 6,000 of my fellow service members have given their lives. [30:15.000 --> 30:18.000] And thousands of my fellow first responders have died. [30:18.000 --> 30:19.000] I'm not a conspiracy theorist. [30:19.000 --> 30:20.000] I'm a structural engineer. [30:20.000 --> 30:21.000] I'm a New York City correction officer. [30:21.000 --> 30:22.000] I'm an Air Force pilot. [30:22.000 --> 30:24.000] I'm a father who lost his son. [30:24.000 --> 30:27.000] We're Americans and we deserve the truth. [30:27.000 --> 30:30.000] Go to RememberBuilding7.org today. [30:30.000 --> 30:35.000] Could you get hooked on your tanning salon? [30:35.000 --> 30:37.000] A new study suggests so. [30:37.000 --> 30:41.000] In fact, researchers say tanning may be as addictive as drugs. [30:41.000 --> 30:45.000] I'm Dr. Katherine Albrecht and I'll have the not-so-sunny details in a moment. [30:45.000 --> 30:47.000] Privacy is under attack. [30:47.000 --> 30:51.000] When you give up data about yourself, you'll never get it back again. [30:51.000 --> 30:56.000] And once your privacy is gone, you'll find your freedoms will start to vanish too. [30:56.000 --> 31:01.000] So protect your rights, say no to surveillance, and keep your information to yourself. [31:01.000 --> 31:02.000] Privacy. [31:02.000 --> 31:04.000] It's worth hanging on to. [31:04.000 --> 31:07.000] This public service announcement is brought to you by StartPage.com. [31:07.000 --> 31:11.000] The private search engine alternative to Google, Yahoo, and Bing. [31:11.000 --> 31:15.000] Start over with StartPage. [31:15.000 --> 31:20.000] Despite the risk of skin cancer, a million Americans use tanning salons every day. [31:20.000 --> 31:25.000] They say they're after that cool bronze look, but could their motivation be more than skin deep? [31:25.000 --> 31:31.000] A new study in Texas finds the real appeal may not be golden skin, but rather ultraviolet radiation, [31:31.000 --> 31:34.000] which scientists say may be as addictive as drugs. [31:34.000 --> 31:40.000] When habitual tanners receive the UV light from a tanning session, the addiction areas of their brains light up. [31:40.000 --> 31:46.000] But when those UV rays are secretly filtered out, they experience cravings and withdrawal symptoms. [31:46.000 --> 31:50.000] Maybe tanning booths are the opium dens of the 21st century. [31:50.000 --> 31:55.000] I'm Dr. Catherine Albrecht. More news and information at CatherineAlbrecht.com. [32:20.000 --> 32:27.000] I'm Dr. Catherine Albrecht. More news and information at CatherineAlbrecht.com. [32:50.000 --> 32:57.000] I'm Dr. Catherine Albrecht. More news and information at CatherineAlbrecht.com. [33:20.000 --> 33:25.000] All right, folks, we are back. [33:25.000 --> 33:30.000] This is the rule of law. [33:30.000 --> 33:33.000] Rule of law, radio.com. [33:33.000 --> 33:43.000] And now we have now transformed the network to logosradionetwork.com for the reasons that I stated earlier. [33:43.000 --> 33:49.000] If you're just tuning in, please go back and listen to the archives so I don't have to go through the whole explanation all over again. [33:49.000 --> 33:55.000] Just speaking with Eric Sayward from We Are Changed Wisconsin, the founder of We Are Changed Wisconsin. [33:55.000 --> 33:57.000] I love those guys. [33:57.000 --> 34:00.000] This is like becoming the We Are Changed network or something. [34:00.000 --> 34:04.000] I mean, we've got Matt Medina and Cody Hess, Truth Exposed Radio. [34:04.000 --> 34:06.000] We Are Changed San Antonio. [34:06.000 --> 34:10.000] And we've also got We Are Changed Oklahoma, the We Are Changed Oklahoma crew, Free Mind Report. [34:10.000 --> 34:12.000] They're on Wednesday night. [34:12.000 --> 34:19.000] So again, folks, if you haven't heard yet, please go to logosradionetwork.com, check out the page. [34:19.000 --> 34:22.000] You don't have to pay just to check out the page. [34:22.000 --> 34:31.000] But if you would like to become a member and get all the member benefits of the chat and the social networking and coming benefits, [34:31.000 --> 34:37.000] and one of the biggest things you will do is support this network when you become a member, 3.95 a month. [34:37.000 --> 34:39.000] Come on, folks, you can't go wrong. [34:39.000 --> 34:43.000] We get enough people that are members. We can really make this thing roll. [34:43.000 --> 34:49.000] If you want to advertise on the new site, there's different levels of advertising. [34:49.000 --> 34:58.000] You can just start off with a scrolling banner where your banner will be put into the rotation on the top of the page for literally pennies. [34:58.000 --> 35:01.000] We get enough people. Many hands make light work. [35:01.000 --> 35:04.000] We get enough people putting their banners up there. [35:04.000 --> 35:09.000] It could support the network. If you want to become a new sponsor, then you can contact me. [35:09.000 --> 35:15.000] There's a link for the sponsors. You can see all the different sponsors that we have on this network. [35:15.000 --> 35:19.000] There's a shows page that is going to be updated. [35:19.000 --> 35:29.000] We're going to have logins for all the hosts to go in and post their upcoming guests and audio, video files, downloads, all kinds of things. [35:29.000 --> 35:34.000] You can check out the schedule. If you go to the listen link, you can see a world map. [35:34.000 --> 35:43.000] Everywhere you see a little blinking dot, those are all the people that are currently on LogosRadioNetwork.com. [35:43.000 --> 35:46.000] Those aren't all the people that are listening right now. [35:46.000 --> 35:55.000] We've got a lot more people listening than there are blinking dots because people still have the old streaming URL, [35:55.000 --> 36:01.000] but the folks who have hit the new website, they're showing up on the map there. [36:01.000 --> 36:06.000] Please go to the site and check it out. Become a member. You can support our network. [36:06.000 --> 36:12.000] We really would appreciate it. We're moving forward and we're going to be adding new shows as well. [36:12.000 --> 36:16.000] Eddie, what do you have to say about the new website? [36:16.000 --> 36:22.000] I've been going over it. I like it. I'm glad that we're still going to be adding to it. [36:22.000 --> 36:28.000] There are several features that we've discussed before that are going to become very important to us in the days to come, [36:28.000 --> 36:33.000] such as the social networking feature, the scheduling and meetup feature, [36:33.000 --> 36:41.000] where people are going to be looking for folks to meet with, to learn with, to study with, to form group relationships with, [36:41.000 --> 36:54.000] as well as upcoming events for people like court appearance dates and things like that, where people can actually sign up to be court watchers on their behalf, witnesses, [36:54.000 --> 37:05.000] so they'll know what's going on in their area and they can make a concerted effort to network together and start showing up in numbers that will make a difference. [37:05.000 --> 37:09.000] That's going to be a very significant feature when we get that implemented. [37:09.000 --> 37:15.000] Yes, and Eddie, you've already been talking to Eric about this and you've got programming skills as well, [37:15.000 --> 37:20.000] so Eddie and Eric are going to be working on that aspect as well. This is going to be fantastic. [37:20.000 --> 37:26.000] Folks, we're really going to have a strong network and when I say that, it's not just going to be the network of the radio shows, [37:26.000 --> 37:33.000] but the network of all of us where all the listeners will have a chance to participate in the network now and will become very strong [37:33.000 --> 37:41.000] and really be able to make an impact through the legal system because we're going to be able to function a lot more as a team now with the listeners [37:41.000 --> 37:44.000] and all being able to network with each other and with us. [37:44.000 --> 37:51.000] All right. Well, with that, we're going to move ahead with the show and we're going to start taking your calls. [37:51.000 --> 37:56.000] Right now, we've got Phil in Massachusetts that has a traffic question. [37:56.000 --> 37:59.000] Phil, thank you for calling in. What is your question tonight? [37:59.000 --> 38:12.000] Yeah, hi. Thank you. A couple of weeks ago, I was listening to the show and Eddie was explaining some prima facie evidence on speed limits [38:12.000 --> 38:19.000] and I checked on MyState Massachusetts and they do have language in there about being prima facie, [38:19.000 --> 38:32.000] but they say that the speed being greater than reasonable and proper instead of reasonable and prudent as Eddie was explaining [38:32.000 --> 38:43.000] and I was wondering if that makes a difference in the language when he says reasonable and proper rather than reasonable and prudent. [38:43.000 --> 38:49.000] Well, as far as whether or not there's a distinguishing difference between reasonable and proper and reasonable and prudent, [38:49.000 --> 38:56.000] all depends upon what the language and the statute has surrounding that, what context it's in. [38:56.000 --> 39:08.000] Well, it says that it shall be a prima facie evidence over rate of speed greater than is reasonable and proper. [39:08.000 --> 39:18.000] Okay, but again, there are two sections in Texas law. One deals with the reasonable and prudent under circumstances then existing [39:18.000 --> 39:24.000] and the other is the prima facie speed limits. They're in separate sections. [39:24.000 --> 39:35.000] The prima facie speed limit says that traveling in the speed and excess of the posted speed limit is prima facie evidence that the speed is unlawful. [39:35.000 --> 39:44.000] Okay, and that it's prima facie and speed is unlawful is not the same as reasonable and prudent. [39:44.000 --> 39:55.000] Okay, the section that discusses reasonable and prudent discusses that that occurs only when the person is acting in a manner [39:55.000 --> 40:05.000] that shows that they are not taking into consideration all the other traffic and any vehicles on or entering the highway in accordance with law [40:05.000 --> 40:19.000] or any other potential hazards then existing. Okay, but the only way they can significantly prove that the speed is neither reasonable nor prudent [40:19.000 --> 40:27.000] is if they can prove that none of those things or one or more of those things was not being done. [40:27.000 --> 40:38.000] And the only way they can do that is to prove a harm. Otherwise, it's just someone's opinion that it was not reasonable or prudent. [40:38.000 --> 40:47.000] There's no factual evidence that supports it not being reasonable and prudent. It's just someone's opinion of reasonable and prudent. [40:47.000 --> 41:04.000] Okay, well, they just showing in chapter 90 section 17 speed limits and it's just one, I guess, not a lengthy paragraph, [41:04.000 --> 41:13.000] but then it just talks about in there about reasonable and prima facie. They mentioned it a few times. [41:13.000 --> 41:19.000] Do a search for that phrase anywhere else in the statutes. [41:19.000 --> 41:25.000] Well, I mean, I can read it to you if you... [41:25.000 --> 41:33.000] Well, reading it to me over there won't give it to me in a proper context. What I'm saying is do a search on the statutes and see if reasonable [41:33.000 --> 41:40.000] and proper is used in any context anywhere else in relation to speed. [41:40.000 --> 41:43.000] Have you done that? [41:43.000 --> 41:58.000] You want to find a more specific definition of what constitutes reasonable and prudent so that somewhere the court will explain that. [41:58.000 --> 41:59.000] Right. [41:59.000 --> 42:01.000] That'll be a better idea. [42:01.000 --> 42:06.000] If you use that same language, reasonable and prudent, they say reasonable and proper. [42:06.000 --> 42:14.000] Right. But look and see if they use that language separate from each other or if it's always reasonable and proper. [42:14.000 --> 42:23.000] But somewhere there's going to be a more definite circumstance that identifies reasonable and proper. [42:23.000 --> 42:28.000] Okay, I see. [42:28.000 --> 42:32.000] Well, okay, I mean, that was basically my question, but it just... [42:32.000 --> 42:43.000] Well, the reason I say there has to be someplace that gives a more definite interpretation of it or at least a more definite context of how it applies is because, again, [42:43.000 --> 42:53.000] if there isn't, then that's going to become a very overbroad way of stating whatever the officer's opinion is of what's reasonable. [42:53.000 --> 42:55.000] Oh, I see. [42:55.000 --> 42:58.000] And you know what they say about opinions, right? [42:58.000 --> 43:00.000] Yes. [43:00.000 --> 43:06.000] Okay, well, that's going to be the problem. [43:06.000 --> 43:16.000] Well, okay, I mean, I'm wondering if even lawyers understand the, you know, the prima facie... [43:16.000 --> 43:18.000] I doubt it. [43:18.000 --> 43:20.000] I know the ones here don't. [43:20.000 --> 43:24.000] They like to argue that all we have to do is prove you went faster than the postage fee limit. [43:24.000 --> 43:27.000] No, sorry, that's not all you have to prove. [43:27.000 --> 43:31.000] All right. [43:31.000 --> 43:38.000] Well, okay, I mean, I will look into it more and hopefully something else will come up. [43:38.000 --> 43:39.000] Okay. [43:39.000 --> 43:40.000] Well, thank you very much. [43:40.000 --> 43:41.000] I really appreciate it. [43:41.000 --> 43:43.000] Yes, thanks for calling in. [43:43.000 --> 43:44.000] Sure. [46:52.000 --> 46:59.000] And speaking of bigger and better, if you have looked at the top news stories on LogosRadioNetwork.com, [46:59.000 --> 47:04.000] we're going to be updating top news hopefully on a daily basis as much as possible. [47:04.000 --> 47:09.000] All the hosts are going to be pitching in to post news stories, [47:09.000 --> 47:11.000] interesting news stories and stuff like that, [47:11.000 --> 47:15.000] so folks can actually start coming to our website as a source of news. [47:15.000 --> 47:23.000] At any rate, one of the top news stories is the fact that the movie is now released, [47:23.000 --> 47:28.000] a noble lie, the Oklahoma City bombing documentary, [47:28.000 --> 47:31.000] the movie that I've been working on for over a year and a half, [47:31.000 --> 47:35.000] and my co-producers, actually I'm not exactly a producer, [47:35.000 --> 47:38.000] I'm just mastering the audio for them, [47:38.000 --> 47:44.000] but the other producers, they have been working on this movie, some of them for 15 years. [47:44.000 --> 47:48.000] And so this has been a long time coming. [47:48.000 --> 47:52.000] A lot of interviews with survivors, actual survivors of the bombing, [47:52.000 --> 48:00.000] witnesses, police officers, detectives, you name it, family members, [48:00.000 --> 48:03.000] and they are telling it like it is, [48:03.000 --> 48:10.000] and there's all kinds of government documents that are shown and discussed in the movie, [48:10.000 --> 48:14.000] documents obtained from FOIA, all kinds of things have happened, [48:14.000 --> 48:16.000] people have been murdered over this. [48:16.000 --> 48:20.000] The true story is finally coming out at long last, [48:20.000 --> 48:23.000] the movie called A Noble Lie, [48:23.000 --> 48:27.000] and where that comes from is from Plato's Republic, [48:27.000 --> 48:32.000] and what it means is a lie told by the nobles, [48:32.000 --> 48:36.000] told by the elite ruling class to protect their position, [48:36.000 --> 48:43.000] and sometimes for what they feel is in the best interest of the lesser ones, the rebel. [48:43.000 --> 48:47.000] And so it's not that the lie itself is noble, [48:47.000 --> 48:51.000] but it's the lie that's told by the nobles to protect their position, [48:51.000 --> 48:55.000] and so that's what has happened with the Oklahoma City bombing, [48:55.000 --> 48:58.000] and everything we've been told about it is a lie, [48:58.000 --> 49:02.000] and now it is finally coming out, and there is so much evidence, it's absolutely outrageous. [49:02.000 --> 49:05.000] I mean, I've been going over all these interviews, [49:05.000 --> 49:11.000] I mean, I'm talking over 100 hours of interviews that I have mastered so far [49:11.000 --> 49:14.000] that they have had to condense into a two-hour movie, [49:14.000 --> 49:16.000] and it doesn't even scratch the surface. [49:16.000 --> 49:21.000] What's going to happen is, come the anniversary this April, [49:21.000 --> 49:25.000] we're going to release the director's cut, which is going to be slightly longer, [49:25.000 --> 49:27.000] maybe about two hours and 45 minutes, [49:27.000 --> 49:33.000] and on the director's cut we're going to be releasing the full-length interviews of all the interviews, [49:33.000 --> 49:39.000] so people who want to get the full story can watch all the interviews in their entirety. [49:39.000 --> 49:43.000] That will be coming in April, but right now we've got the first cut available. [49:43.000 --> 49:47.000] That is one of the top news on LogosRadioNetwork.com, [49:47.000 --> 49:52.000] you can go to LogosRadioNetwork.com, scroll down to where it says top news, there's a link, [49:52.000 --> 49:58.000] it's the second news story, or you can go to anobleye.com, [49:58.000 --> 50:03.000] that's a-n-o-b-l-e-l-i-e dot com, and you can purchase the documentary, [50:03.000 --> 50:09.000] and folks, again, when you make these purchases, you are supporting this network. [50:09.000 --> 50:12.000] You are supporting us being on the air, and you're supporting the word of truth, [50:12.000 --> 50:15.000] so I encourage everyone to get the film. [50:15.000 --> 50:20.000] It is incredible, I'm very proud and honored and humbled to be a part of it, [50:20.000 --> 50:24.000] and I really hope that you all enjoy it, I know you will. [50:24.000 --> 50:29.000] Okay, with that being said now, we are going to go to- well, we weren't going to go to our callers, [50:29.000 --> 50:31.000] but now there are no callers on the board. [50:31.000 --> 50:34.000] We had Michael from Maryland, he has dropped off. [50:34.000 --> 50:36.000] Michael, if you'd like to call back, we'll go to your call. [50:36.000 --> 50:41.000] In the meantime, Eddie, you have something that you want to discuss. [50:41.000 --> 50:47.000] I'm sure that this has to do with a follow-up on what happened with Matt and John Bush, [50:47.000 --> 50:52.000] and Matt Medina and John Bush, they were on the air on Monday on our show, [50:52.000 --> 50:59.000] discussing what happened with them, and so let us know what the scoop is. [50:59.000 --> 51:05.000] Well, the scoop is really- it's more like a shovel. [51:05.000 --> 51:11.000] The problem we have here is that when I went through and I started looking at everything [51:11.000 --> 51:14.000] surrounding this Austin Community Court that's been set up, [51:14.000 --> 51:21.000] I was working with Tim Ulrich, we were going through the ordinances online for Austin, [51:21.000 --> 51:23.000] we were going through the statutes as well. [51:23.000 --> 51:30.000] What we came up with is going to be extremely astounding to most of you that are listening to this, [51:30.000 --> 51:35.000] but it's going to be even more astounding to the city of Austin [51:35.000 --> 51:39.000] when we get all these people together and sue the living crap out of them. [51:39.000 --> 51:42.000] Here's what the situation is. [51:42.000 --> 51:50.000] The Austin Community Court is a branch of the Austin Municipal Court. [51:50.000 --> 51:58.000] Now, that being said, this court's jurisdiction is limited strictly to Class C fine-only offenses, [51:58.000 --> 52:01.000] just like the Austin Municipal Court. [52:01.000 --> 52:08.000] Yet on their website, they say that they have the authority to offer alternative sentencing, [52:08.000 --> 52:13.000] including incarceration of an accused. [52:13.000 --> 52:18.000] First off, I don't know where these idiots get the idea a municipal court can even begin to do that. [52:18.000 --> 52:25.000] It's obviously not something they got from the statutes because they say precisely the opposite of that. [52:25.000 --> 52:36.000] The other problem is that this court is operating as a court of no record according to the statutes or the ordinances. [52:36.000 --> 52:40.000] Now, when you go read Chapter 30 of the government code, [52:40.000 --> 52:47.000] you'll find that Chapter 30 is all about municipal courts of record. [52:47.000 --> 52:57.000] And it starts off in that section stating very clearly in 30-point quad-03 that a municipal court may, by ordinance, [52:57.000 --> 53:02.000] create a municipal court of record. [53:02.000 --> 53:12.000] Well, Austin created the original Austin Municipal Court in 1984 by ordinance as a court of record. [53:12.000 --> 53:20.000] The problem is that in 1999, the legislature revamped the Municipal Courts Act, [53:20.000 --> 53:25.000] and they made very specific changes to Chapter 30. [53:25.000 --> 53:33.000] One of those changes is that if there is a municipal court of record in a municipality, [53:33.000 --> 53:36.000] there are two major rules here. [53:36.000 --> 53:44.000] One of them is that the municipal court, or the number of municipal courts in the city, [53:44.000 --> 53:55.000] must be named such-and-such city, municipal court of record, number, whatever the number is, starting with one. [53:55.000 --> 54:02.000] And the statute authorizes up to 20 of these types of courts. [54:02.000 --> 54:16.000] But subsection E of that same section, or sub-item E, also says that you cannot operate a municipal court of no record [54:16.000 --> 54:22.000] in the same municipality where there is a municipal court of record, [54:22.000 --> 54:29.000] which creates an immediate conflict between this Austin Community Court and the Austin Municipal Court. [54:29.000 --> 54:35.000] They violate Chapter 30 of the government code right off the bat, and they do it in two ways. [54:35.000 --> 54:42.000] If the community court is, in fact, a court of no record, it violates subsection E. [54:42.000 --> 54:47.000] It cannot be a court of no record if the municipality has an official court of record, [54:47.000 --> 54:58.000] which the Austin Municipal Court is purporting to act as, as is an official municipal court of record. [54:58.000 --> 55:03.000] However, there's a problem with that too. [55:03.000 --> 55:14.000] When these changes were made in 1999, Austin did not update the municipal court configuration to comply with the statute. [55:14.000 --> 55:19.000] Hence, this court is still called Austin Municipal Court, [55:19.000 --> 55:27.000] rather than City of Austin Municipal Court of Record, number one, two, three, whatever it is, [55:27.000 --> 55:33.000] which is the only way the court can function as a court of record and comply with the statute. [55:33.000 --> 55:44.000] Well, when you go find the new ordinance that the City of Austin put together to create and establish the Austin Municipal Court, [55:44.000 --> 55:50.000] it does not stipulate either in the creation of the Austin Municipal Court [55:50.000 --> 55:59.000] or in the creation of the Austin Community Court that either of them are created as a court of record. [55:59.000 --> 56:07.000] Therefore, the City of Austin is operating illegal courts of record in the municipality. [56:07.000 --> 56:14.000] And I say illegal because, one, it does not comply with the Municipal Courts Act under Chapter 30. [56:14.000 --> 56:19.000] Number two, if it does not comply with the law, it's invalid. [56:19.000 --> 56:23.000] If it's invalid, it lacks jurisdiction to hear causes. [56:23.000 --> 56:33.000] If it lacks jurisdiction to hear causes, then it's illegally convicted hundreds of thousands of Texans in its stupid court. [56:33.000 --> 56:36.000] And that's per year. [56:36.000 --> 56:39.000] So this is a way bigger scam than we ever thought. [56:39.000 --> 56:40.000] Oh, yeah. [56:40.000 --> 56:52.000] And it looks to me, Eddie, just one quick comment, it looks to me that they are illegally operating these courts under this guise of being a court of record [56:52.000 --> 57:02.000] for the purpose of denying people a child de novo, therefore illegally putting them in the position, the defendants in the position [57:02.000 --> 57:08.000] of having to pay double the amount of the ticket for an appeal bond to appeal. [57:08.000 --> 57:10.000] That's what it looks like to me. [57:10.000 --> 57:11.000] Exactly. [57:11.000 --> 57:20.000] The problem here comes down to how they're depriving the individual of their due process right to a trial de novo from a court of no record [57:20.000 --> 57:26.000] versus a singular appeal from a court of record. [57:26.000 --> 57:32.000] If the official record is not official, then this cannot be a proper appeal. [57:32.000 --> 57:41.000] And it can only be an official record if it's coming from a properly constructed and designated court of record. [57:41.000 --> 57:43.000] And this isn't. [57:43.000 --> 57:47.000] It does not comply with chapter 30 of the government code. [57:47.000 --> 58:04.000] So what the city is doing is they are charging the defendant, double the amount of the fines, plus as an appeal bond, plus the cost of the transcript, which the city is keeping. [58:04.000 --> 58:09.000] And yet they're not a court of record. [58:09.000 --> 58:12.000] So this becomes a problem. [58:12.000 --> 58:18.000] This becomes a major problem that we're going to have to sue the city of Austin to fix. [58:18.000 --> 58:19.000] Hi, folks. [58:19.000 --> 58:20.000] We're about to take another break. [58:20.000 --> 58:23.000] This is Eddie Craig, Randy Kelton, Debra Stevens, Rule of Law Radio. [01:00:04.000 --> 01:00:13.000] The Interior Department announced Wednesday BP had won $27 million worth of leases for new oil and gas exploration in the Gulf of Mexico. [01:00:13.000 --> 01:00:25.000] An explosion on BP's Deepwater Horizon rig in April 2010 killed 11 workers, causing nearly 5 million barrels of oil to spew into the Gulf in the biggest offshore spill in U.S. history. [01:00:25.000 --> 01:00:31.000] Environmentalists said BP should be banned from drilling since the spill has not been fully cleaned up. [01:00:31.000 --> 01:00:40.000] A standoff between thousands of villagers and authorities in southern China continued Thursday amid protests over illegal land seizures. [01:00:40.000 --> 01:00:48.000] Local officials were driven out of Wuhan village in Guangdong province as villagers sought to stop their land from being taken by developers. [01:00:48.000 --> 01:00:55.000] Villagers say land has been seized illegally and then sold by local government to developers for the past decade. [01:00:55.000 --> 01:01:08.000] Italy's government has called for a confidence vote in Parliament Friday to speed up approval of a $43 billion austerity package intended to restore market confidence in the Eurozone's third largest economy. [01:01:08.000 --> 01:01:15.000] The government of Prime Minister Mario Monti, backed by an overwhelming majority in both houses, said the votes should pass easily. [01:01:15.000 --> 01:01:21.000] Italy's trade unions, which strongly oppose pension cuts, have staged protest strikes. [01:01:21.000 --> 01:01:32.000] The House of Representatives voted Wednesday to deny terror suspects, including U.S. citizens, the right to trial and permit authorities to detain them indefinitely. [01:01:32.000 --> 01:01:38.000] The proposed changes were quietly added to a $662 billion defense bill without debate. [01:01:38.000 --> 01:01:47.000] White House officials withdrew a threat to block the bill over concerns it would undermine the President's authority over counter-terrorism activities. [01:01:47.000 --> 01:01:55.000] The bill requires the military to take custody of terror suspects accused of involvement in plotting or committing attacks against the U.S. [01:01:55.000 --> 01:01:59.000] Once in custody, even U.S. citizens can be held indefinitely. [01:01:59.000 --> 01:02:09.000] Barack Obama agreed to sign the bill after it was amended to read the military cannot interfere with the FBI or other civilian investigations and interrogations. [01:02:09.000 --> 01:02:16.000] The revisions also allow the President to sign a waiver moving a terror suspect from military to civilian prison. [01:02:16.000 --> 01:02:27.000] America's CEOs enjoyed pay hikes last year of between 27 and 40 percent, bolstering what the Occupy Wall Street movement has been saying about the nation's 1 percent. [01:02:27.000 --> 01:02:41.000] The survey from the Corporate Governments Group GMI ratings shows that as stock prices recovered, the median value of bosses' profits on stock options rose 70 percent in 2010 to $1.3 million. [01:02:41.000 --> 01:02:46.000] The top 10 earners took home more than $770 million between them. [01:02:46.000 --> 01:02:55.000] The Russell 3000 measure of U.S. stock prices was up by 17 percent in 2010, but CEO pay went up by 27 percent. [01:02:55.000 --> 01:03:00.000] S&P 500 CEO's compensation increased by an average 36 percent. [01:03:00.000 --> 01:03:04.000] More details on these stories. [01:03:55.000 --> 01:04:01.000] S&P 500 CEO's compensation increased by an average 37 percent. [01:04:01.000 --> 01:04:07.000] Rural Law Radio Network's compensation increased by an average 37 percent. [01:04:07.000 --> 01:04:17.000] S&P 500 CEO's compensation increased by an average 37 percent. [01:04:17.000 --> 01:04:23.000] S&P 500 CEO's compensation increased by an average 37 percent. [01:04:23.000 --> 01:04:29.000] Rural Law Radio Network's compensation increased by an average 37 percent. [01:04:29.000 --> 01:04:37.000] Hi folks, we are back to Rural Law Radio. Call in number, like I said, it's 512-646-1984. [01:04:37.000 --> 01:04:41.000] So if you have anything you want to talk to us about, now's the time to get in line. [01:04:41.000 --> 01:04:43.000] Please don't wait till the last minute. [01:04:43.000 --> 01:04:53.000] Now back to what I was saying regarding this little quandary with the court of record not being an official court of record. [01:04:53.000 --> 01:05:02.000] This would mean that the Austin Municipal Court is illegally acting as a court of record. [01:05:02.000 --> 01:05:08.000] Well, if the court is acting illegally, then it can't be an actual official court. [01:05:08.000 --> 01:05:19.000] There's no authority in law granted to any governmental agency to break the law in order to do its job. [01:05:19.000 --> 01:05:24.000] That would include the cops dealing drugs out there people. [01:05:24.000 --> 01:05:34.000] Though they do it all the time, it's not part of their official authority that was granted to them, but they're doing it anyway. [01:05:34.000 --> 01:05:38.000] This is pretty much the same deal with these municipal courts. [01:05:38.000 --> 01:05:44.000] The law requires that they be established in a specific way, including the name of the court, [01:05:44.000 --> 01:05:53.000] which obviously, Austin Municipal Court is not the same as Austin Municipal Court of Record No. 1. [01:05:53.000 --> 01:06:00.000] Something similar, as the axiom goes, is never the same, or the maximum, rather. [01:06:00.000 --> 01:06:04.000] Something similar is never the same. [01:06:04.000 --> 01:06:07.000] Well, that's the problem with this Austin Municipal Court. [01:06:07.000 --> 01:06:12.000] It's similar to a court of record, but it's not the same. [01:06:12.000 --> 01:06:16.000] Because it's not the same, it's not legitimate. [01:06:16.000 --> 01:06:19.000] Because it's not legitimate, it's unlawful. [01:06:19.000 --> 01:06:29.000] If it's unlawful, it's not able to have jurisdiction over the public or anybody else to do what it's doing. [01:06:29.000 --> 01:06:33.000] And we need to be going after these people for what they are doing. [01:06:33.000 --> 01:06:37.000] Not just the municipal court, but the individuals in that court. [01:06:37.000 --> 01:06:42.000] The city council, the mayor, the manager. [01:06:42.000 --> 01:06:50.000] I'm getting real sick and tired of being hauled into these phony baloney courts to answer for violating a law that never applied to me [01:06:50.000 --> 01:06:58.000] when the very people sitting there in judgment of me are guilty of violating every law on the book that applies to them. [01:06:58.000 --> 01:07:04.000] And no one is sitting there in judgment holding them accountable. [01:07:04.000 --> 01:07:07.000] That has got to stop. [01:07:07.000 --> 01:07:13.000] Now, Debra, you said there was something you wanted to talk about in relation to John and Matt's appearance down there. [01:07:13.000 --> 01:07:14.000] Yes. [01:07:14.000 --> 01:07:15.000] Okay. [01:07:15.000 --> 01:07:19.000] Just the quick brief story for folks who want the full story. [01:07:19.000 --> 01:07:21.000] Again, go back and listen to Monday's archive. [01:07:21.000 --> 01:07:23.000] But the short version is this. [01:07:23.000 --> 01:07:33.000] Matt Medina and John Bush get arrested on 6th Street Saturday night for not following an order by the police. [01:07:33.000 --> 01:07:40.000] There is a city ordinance here that requires people to follow an order of the police. [01:07:40.000 --> 01:07:41.000] I'm sorry. [01:07:41.000 --> 01:07:42.000] I don't have it pulled up right now. [01:07:42.000 --> 01:07:44.000] I was just about to pull it up and then Eddie brings me on. [01:07:44.000 --> 01:07:49.000] But at any rate, the key is that it has to be a lawful order of the police. [01:07:49.000 --> 01:07:51.000] They can't just order us around and tell us what to do. [01:07:51.000 --> 01:07:54.000] In other words, you're not the boss of me, okay? [01:07:54.000 --> 01:07:58.000] They can't just order us to go get them a donut or a cup of coffee or something. [01:07:58.000 --> 01:07:59.000] All right? [01:07:59.000 --> 01:08:01.000] It has to be a lawful order. [01:08:01.000 --> 01:08:10.000] Well, basically the short version is they were filming the police basically violating somebody's rights and harassing them. [01:08:10.000 --> 01:08:16.000] And they were plenty far enough away so as not to interfere with the duties of a public servant. [01:08:16.000 --> 01:08:17.000] They were 15, 20 feet away. [01:08:17.000 --> 01:08:24.000] There's plenty of room away but just barely close enough in order to capture the audio on their cameras. [01:08:24.000 --> 01:08:32.000] So this police officer who had actually harassed John earlier in the evening basically comes up and gets in his face and starts yelling and screaming. [01:08:32.000 --> 01:08:34.000] There's video of this all over the Internet, by the way, folks. [01:08:34.000 --> 01:08:41.000] You can do a search on YouTube for what happened with Matt Medina and John Bush on Saturday night. [01:08:41.000 --> 01:08:46.000] Anyways, getting in his face and telling him, you go stand behind that pole over there. [01:08:46.000 --> 01:08:52.000] And apparently that pole over there was pretty far away, substantially far away, like 30 feet at least or something. [01:08:52.000 --> 01:08:57.000] Far enough away so that a camera could not capture the audio. [01:08:57.000 --> 01:09:04.000] And basically John is told, no, you don't have any authority to boss me around like that and to order me around like that. [01:09:04.000 --> 01:09:06.000] I'm not interfering with your duties. [01:09:06.000 --> 01:09:07.000] I didn't come up and talk to you. [01:09:07.000 --> 01:09:09.000] I didn't get in your face. [01:09:09.000 --> 01:09:10.000] You're the one that came over to me. [01:09:10.000 --> 01:09:14.000] I was leaving you alone and just filming what was going on. [01:09:14.000 --> 01:09:19.000] And so basically there are other things, you know, I'm telling the short version. [01:09:19.000 --> 01:09:26.000] Anyway, Matt and John get arrested for failing to comply with this order that the police had given them, which was not a lawful order. [01:09:26.000 --> 01:09:33.000] Class C misdemeanor here in Austin, this ordinance, well, they get taken downtown. [01:09:33.000 --> 01:09:41.000] They don't get run through the whole booking process because now, and it's a good thing too, because now in Austin it's almost a deadly process [01:09:41.000 --> 01:09:48.000] because they take an iris scan of you and they put you through the naked body scanner, which is deadly, by the way, because of the radiation and all that. [01:09:48.000 --> 01:09:55.000] But what they did is they held them for four hours and then let them go and didn't even give them a citation. [01:09:55.000 --> 01:09:56.000] No ticket. [01:09:56.000 --> 01:10:04.000] They gave them some kind of a notice from this Austin community court saying that they were required and they had to sign it. [01:10:04.000 --> 01:10:07.000] It was a promise to appear, but it wasn't a ticket. [01:10:07.000 --> 01:10:08.000] It wasn't a citation. [01:10:08.000 --> 01:10:12.000] Like when you get a traffic ticket, it's a citation and then you sign the promise to appear. [01:10:12.000 --> 01:10:26.000] This was just a notice document given to them by the jailers with the Austin community court header on the top, letterhead on the top, and they had to sign the promise to appear. [01:10:26.000 --> 01:10:36.000] And so, you know, we had Matt and John on Monday and we're helping them prepare and talk about the situation and Eddie ended up getting some documents together for them. [01:10:36.000 --> 01:10:45.000] One of the main ones was a motion to dismiss based on no notice because, of course, they weren't going to get any notice of any criminal complaint against them by the next day. [01:10:45.000 --> 01:10:48.000] And the special appearance and on and on, the whole bit. [01:10:48.000 --> 01:10:50.000] Okay, you can listen on Monday for that. [01:10:50.000 --> 01:10:54.000] Well, we were thinking, worst case scenario, that that would be the trial. [01:10:54.000 --> 01:11:01.000] But I suspected what it really was going to be was their quote-unquote registration because they never saw magistrate, even though magistrations are illegal anyway. [01:11:01.000 --> 01:11:03.000] It has to be an examining probable cause hearing. [01:11:03.000 --> 01:11:06.000] Well, sure enough, it was their registration. [01:11:06.000 --> 01:11:13.000] And so, basically, when they get there, John and Matt is telling them, no, we are not going to proceed with this hearing. [01:11:13.000 --> 01:11:15.000] You guys are late, okay? [01:11:15.000 --> 01:11:19.000] You guys are too late to conduct this so-called registration. [01:11:19.000 --> 01:11:25.000] Y'all required by statute and case law to take us to the nearest magistrate immediately upon arrest. [01:11:25.000 --> 01:11:29.000] It's not like you get up to 48 hours to do it. [01:11:29.000 --> 01:11:33.000] You have to take us to magistrate immediately when we're arrested. [01:11:33.000 --> 01:11:34.000] And you didn't do that. [01:11:34.000 --> 01:11:36.000] And it's more than 48 hours. [01:11:36.000 --> 01:11:41.000] That's prima facie evidence that you did not make every due, diligent effort to locate a magistrate in time. [01:11:41.000 --> 01:11:43.000] You just throw us in your jail. [01:11:43.000 --> 01:11:45.000] Then you decide to release us whenever you want. [01:11:45.000 --> 01:11:49.000] And then you have a sign that's promised to appear to come to a magistration. [01:11:49.000 --> 01:11:53.000] And they're like, no, we're not going to proceed with this hearing. [01:11:53.000 --> 01:11:59.000] But what you are going to do is you're going to file this motion to dismiss based on no notice. [01:11:59.000 --> 01:12:05.000] And so then the court and the prosecutor, the judge, they try to trick them into pleading. [01:12:05.000 --> 01:12:07.000] They try to trick them into pleading several different ways. [01:12:07.000 --> 01:12:09.000] And they're like, well, y'all get a plea. [01:12:09.000 --> 01:12:10.000] And they're like, no, we're not going to plea. [01:12:10.000 --> 01:12:11.000] We're not going to enter a plea. [01:12:11.000 --> 01:12:12.000] So they wouldn't enter a plea. [01:12:12.000 --> 01:12:18.000] And then the judge is like, well, okay, but the only way that you guys can file this motion to dismiss is if we do a hearing. [01:12:18.000 --> 01:12:19.000] And they're like, no, we're not going to do a hearing. [01:12:19.000 --> 01:12:22.000] And you're going to file this motion to dismiss. [01:12:22.000 --> 01:12:26.000] And they're like, okay, well, we can only do that if you fill out this form. [01:12:26.000 --> 01:12:27.000] And they give them a form to fill out. [01:12:27.000 --> 01:12:29.000] And it was a plea form. [01:12:29.000 --> 01:12:31.000] And they're like, no, we're not going to plea. [01:12:31.000 --> 01:12:32.000] We're not going to fill out this form. [01:12:32.000 --> 01:12:34.000] And so basically they would not consent to the hearing. [01:12:34.000 --> 01:12:37.000] They would not consent to pleading or anything like that. [01:12:37.000 --> 01:12:40.000] They ended up filing the motion to dismiss. [01:12:40.000 --> 01:12:42.000] They didn't have the hearing. [01:12:42.000 --> 01:12:46.000] And the judge says, well, we're just going to have to refer this matter to the Austin Municipal Court. [01:12:46.000 --> 01:12:49.000] So that's what happened on Wednesday. [01:12:49.000 --> 01:12:51.000] What were they charged with? [01:12:51.000 --> 01:12:56.000] I just told you, Eddie has the, I'm going to have to look up the, hold on. [01:12:56.000 --> 01:12:59.000] They were charged with disobeying a lawful order. [01:12:59.000 --> 01:13:00.000] Disobeying a lawful order. [01:13:00.000 --> 01:13:03.000] I'm going to pull up the city ordinance right now. [01:13:03.000 --> 01:13:05.000] It's a Class C misdemeanor. [01:13:05.000 --> 01:13:06.000] Okay. [01:13:06.000 --> 01:13:13.000] When they signed the promise to appear, you said they weren't charged. [01:13:13.000 --> 01:13:15.000] No, there was no citation. [01:13:15.000 --> 01:13:16.000] Here it is. [01:13:16.000 --> 01:13:27.000] It is, it is article four of nine dash four dash five one compliance with order of officer required. [01:13:27.000 --> 01:13:33.000] And this is from the Austin city code, the city ordinance. [01:13:33.000 --> 01:13:40.000] Code section 10 dash one dash two ordinance 031023 dash 13. [01:13:40.000 --> 01:13:42.000] That was what they were charged with. [01:13:42.000 --> 01:13:44.000] A person commits an offense. [01:13:44.000 --> 01:13:52.000] If he knowingly fails or refuses to comply with an order or direction of a peace officer that is given by a visible or audible signal, [01:13:52.000 --> 01:14:00.000] is an affirmative defense to prosecution for violation of this section that the peace officer's order or direction or duty being performed is unlawful, which it was. [01:14:00.000 --> 01:14:05.000] Now, John, and now let me give you some more information, Randy, before you continue. [01:14:05.000 --> 01:14:15.000] John and Matt did get copies of their files, everything that was in their file that on Wednesday and they did find a criminal complaint in the file, [01:14:15.000 --> 01:14:19.000] but they were never served with it and they were not issued a citation. [01:14:19.000 --> 01:14:23.000] What was the date on the criminal complaint? [01:14:23.000 --> 01:14:24.000] I don't know. [01:14:24.000 --> 01:14:25.000] I don't have it. [01:14:25.000 --> 01:14:26.000] I don't have all that information. [01:14:26.000 --> 01:14:27.000] That's really important. [01:14:27.000 --> 01:14:31.000] They're supposed to get that to me and Eddie, but I don't have everything that's in their file. [01:14:31.000 --> 01:14:35.000] There was a complaint in the file, but they weren't served with it. [01:14:35.000 --> 01:14:37.000] Going in the file. [01:14:37.000 --> 01:14:38.000] Go ahead. [01:14:38.000 --> 01:14:48.000] There was a complaint in the file, but when they were arrested and released and they signed a promise to appear, [01:14:48.000 --> 01:14:58.000] what notice did they have of the, to what's the term, the cause? [01:14:58.000 --> 01:15:00.000] What were they appearing for? [01:15:00.000 --> 01:15:01.000] They didn't know. [01:15:01.000 --> 01:15:03.000] It didn't say on the document from the jail. [01:15:03.000 --> 01:15:07.000] They were just, they had to, that's all there was. [01:15:07.000 --> 01:15:08.000] Okay. [01:15:08.000 --> 01:15:11.000] That's why it's really important what date on that complaint was. [01:15:11.000 --> 01:15:12.000] Complaint. [01:15:12.000 --> 01:15:13.000] Yeah, absolutely. [01:15:13.000 --> 01:15:27.000] Because they were arrested the only way the officer can have authority to insist that they sign a promise to appear is if there is a criminal complaint. [01:15:27.000 --> 01:15:40.000] And the only way that the officer can have jurisdiction and the only way he can transfer it to the court is with the complaint that existed at the time of the arrest. [01:15:40.000 --> 01:15:44.000] They were supposed to sign the complaint. [01:15:44.000 --> 01:15:46.000] What did they actually sign? [01:15:46.000 --> 01:15:48.000] What did Matt and John sign? [01:15:48.000 --> 01:15:49.000] Yeah. [01:15:49.000 --> 01:15:52.000] A promise to appear. [01:15:52.000 --> 01:16:00.000] Was it, they have a promise to appear that doesn't, that's not in the form of a complaint. [01:16:00.000 --> 01:16:03.000] No, and it's not, and it's not, oh it is, okay. [01:16:03.000 --> 01:16:07.000] It was the release form from the jail. [01:16:07.000 --> 01:16:09.000] It is not a complaint. [01:16:09.000 --> 01:16:15.000] The jail simply makes you sign a form stating that you will appear in the court at a particular date. [01:16:15.000 --> 01:16:18.000] It's not a citation nor a complaint. [01:16:18.000 --> 01:16:19.000] Yes, and it's not a ticket either. [01:16:19.000 --> 01:16:20.000] It's not a ticket. [01:16:20.000 --> 01:16:21.000] It's not a citation. [01:16:21.000 --> 01:16:22.000] It's not a complaint. [01:16:22.000 --> 01:16:29.000] All it is is they notice from the jail with the Austin Community Court letterhead and you sign the promise to appear. [01:16:29.000 --> 01:16:30.000] That's it. [01:16:30.000 --> 01:16:37.000] They need to file criminal charges against the director of the jail. [01:16:37.000 --> 01:16:42.000] The jail had no authority to do an intake without a criminal accusation. [01:16:42.000 --> 01:16:44.000] They had no authority to hold them. [01:16:44.000 --> 01:16:46.000] They had no authority to release them. [01:16:46.000 --> 01:16:47.000] They had no authority to do anything. [01:16:47.000 --> 01:16:51.000] No, and they're going to try to weasel out of it by saying, well, look at the letterhead on this notice. [01:16:51.000 --> 01:16:54.000] It was the Austin Community Court that did this. [01:16:54.000 --> 01:16:55.000] We'll be right back. [01:16:55.000 --> 01:16:56.000] Hold on, folks. [01:17:02.000 --> 01:17:08.000] It's the story of a lost city, lost opportunity, lost hope. [01:17:08.000 --> 01:17:15.000] A story of failed policies, failed leadership, a story of smooth talking politicians, [01:17:15.000 --> 01:17:20.000] games of he said, she said, rhetoric and division. [01:17:20.000 --> 01:17:26.000] One man has stood apart, stood strong and true. [01:17:26.000 --> 01:17:33.000] Voting against every tax increase, every untoward budget, every time. [01:17:33.000 --> 01:17:42.000] Standing up to the Washington Machine, guided by principal Ron Paul, the one who will stop the spending. [01:17:42.000 --> 01:17:50.000] Save the dollar, create jobs, bring peace, the one who will restore liberty. [01:17:50.000 --> 01:17:57.000] Ron Paul, the one who can beat Obama and restore America now. [01:17:57.000 --> 01:18:00.000] I'm Ron Paul, and I approve this message. [01:18:00.000 --> 01:18:02.000] What's been the problem with phone companies? [01:18:02.000 --> 01:18:08.000] High prices and contracts that lock you in for two years minimum, not freedomtelephones.com. [01:18:08.000 --> 01:18:14.000] Freedomtelephones are designed around the concept and reality of patriotism, loyalty and privacy. [01:18:14.000 --> 01:18:20.000] With freedomtelephones.com, there are no contracts, no credit checks and no social security numbers required. [01:18:20.000 --> 01:18:23.000] That's why our name is freedomtelephones.com. [01:18:38.000 --> 01:18:43.000] Plus, every month you pay your bill, freedomtelephones.com contributes to your favorite programs. [01:18:43.000 --> 01:18:52.000] Don't wait, support the cause and get the highest quality and the lowest prices by calling 1-800-600-5553. [01:18:52.000 --> 01:18:55.000] That's 800-600-5553. [01:18:55.000 --> 01:19:00.000] Freedomtelephones.com, portable, private, perfect. [01:19:00.000 --> 01:19:25.000] Music playing. [01:19:25.000 --> 01:19:33.000] We're talking about this outrageous situation that happened to Matt Medina and John Bush on this past Saturday night. [01:19:33.000 --> 01:19:49.000] So, yes, to recap, Randy, what they were given by the jail upon their release was simply a notice by the Austin, not the Austin Municipal Court, [01:19:49.000 --> 01:19:55.000] it was Austin Community Court letterhead at the top and it was just a promise to appear, that's it. [01:19:55.000 --> 01:20:03.000] It was not in the form of a citation, it was not in the form of a complaint, it was not in the form of a ticket, none of the above, okay? [01:20:03.000 --> 01:20:07.000] And so they had no idea what the nature and cause was against them. [01:20:07.000 --> 01:20:09.000] They didn't know anything. [01:20:09.000 --> 01:20:13.000] None of us knew what kind of hearing this was going to be, nothing. [01:20:13.000 --> 01:20:16.000] And it turns out to be this bogus magistration. [01:20:16.000 --> 01:20:19.000] So that is what happened. [01:20:19.000 --> 01:20:25.000] They need to find out who had these documents printed up. [01:20:25.000 --> 01:20:31.000] Because these documents were designed to violate law. [01:20:31.000 --> 01:20:38.000] Whoever had these printed up conspired with the jail to commit false imprisonment. [01:20:38.000 --> 01:20:41.000] Absolutely, I would say so. [01:20:41.000 --> 01:20:53.000] They created this special document so they could arrest people without charge, hold them without charge, and release them on a promise to appear to answer to a non-charge. [01:20:53.000 --> 01:20:57.000] And to answer to a non-charge to a non-court. [01:20:57.000 --> 01:21:00.000] To a non-court. [01:21:00.000 --> 01:21:06.000] John and him may get some serious things changed. [01:21:06.000 --> 01:21:13.000] And it just proves that this court has no authority and no jurisdiction if you don't acquiesce to it, if you don't agree to it. [01:21:13.000 --> 01:21:16.000] Because the judge couldn't do anything. [01:21:16.000 --> 01:21:19.000] John and Matt would not agree to a hearing. [01:21:19.000 --> 01:21:21.000] They would not agree to any of it. [01:21:21.000 --> 01:21:24.000] They said you're going to file this motion to dismiss and that's it. [01:21:24.000 --> 01:21:27.000] And you're going to give us copies of everything in the file and that's it. [01:21:27.000 --> 01:21:32.000] And so then the judge was left with no option other than to just refer the matter to the Austin Municipal Court. [01:21:32.000 --> 01:21:36.000] So that proves it right there that it's a farce. [01:21:36.000 --> 01:21:42.000] I want to tell John and Matt well done. [01:21:42.000 --> 01:21:44.000] Absolutely. [01:21:44.000 --> 01:21:47.000] Absolutely did well. [01:21:47.000 --> 01:21:53.000] They did a knuckle under these chops and wound up putting them in a position they're not going to want to be. [01:21:53.000 --> 01:21:57.000] And especially if John and Matt pursue this thing. [01:21:57.000 --> 01:21:59.000] Absolutely. [01:21:59.000 --> 01:22:02.000] All right. Any more comments on this matter? [01:22:02.000 --> 01:22:04.000] Eddie, Randy? [01:22:04.000 --> 01:22:07.000] Well, I do. I got one very short one. [01:22:07.000 --> 01:22:14.000] They did good in the fact that they never stopped challenging the jurisdiction of this bogus court. [01:22:14.000 --> 01:22:23.000] Notice that when they refused to play the game, this court kicked them out and sent them back to the regular municipal court. [01:22:23.000 --> 01:22:32.000] So this goes to show that that community court is only going to be able to hold jurisdiction as long as you act. We have to do it. [01:22:32.000 --> 01:22:37.000] Right. Absolutely. [01:22:37.000 --> 01:22:42.000] Folks, this should set an example for everyone out there. We just have to stand up. [01:22:42.000 --> 01:23:03.000] We just have to know the law, know our rights and not put up with this crap because they're going to rob us and mow us down and steal our property and just continue to run their revenue machine at our expense unless we say no. [01:23:03.000 --> 01:23:12.000] When we say no, it actually works. And it's working better and better. We're actually making the word no work better. It's having more force and effect. [01:23:12.000 --> 01:23:21.000] We're getting more streamlined with the no. And what I mean by that is the paperwork, knowing the law, knowing what kind of documents to file and these sorts of things. [01:23:21.000 --> 01:23:29.000] I mean, look, Eddie's unraveling. Because of what happened to John and Matt, we're unraveling even more fraud that these guys are committing. [01:23:29.000 --> 01:23:43.000] These courts are not even legitimate on their face. They can't even operate. The Minnesota Municipal Court can't even lawfully operate as a court of record and they're doing it anyway. [01:23:43.000 --> 01:23:51.000] And then they establish this Austin Community Court as a non-court of record. And they can't do that either. They can't do any of it. [01:23:51.000 --> 01:23:56.000] We just got to call them on it, man. I'm sick of it. I'm not putting up with it anymore. [01:23:56.000 --> 01:24:04.000] You know, it's not just about the little traffic tickets. You know, this is a big deal. It's a big, big deal. [01:24:04.000 --> 01:24:07.000] Okay. Anything else, guys? [01:24:07.000 --> 01:24:08.000] No, let's go call it. [01:24:08.000 --> 01:24:14.000] Okay. We're going to go to Jason in Texas now. Thank you for holding. Jason, what is your comment or question for us tonight? [01:24:14.000 --> 01:24:31.000] Well, I do have a question about a small traffic ticket, but it is in Austin, Texas. It was a citation for speaking on a cell phone in a school zone, which I was guilty of. [01:24:31.000 --> 01:24:40.000] Well, now, wait a minute. You may not have been guilty of that. I mean, for one thing, one of the first prerequisites is you had to have been engaged in transportation. [01:24:40.000 --> 01:24:46.000] The problem is, you're going to keep talking like that. Just take out your wallet and give them the whole thing now. [01:24:46.000 --> 01:25:06.000] Right. Okay. I understand. But this is why I'm calling you, because the sign that, you know, notifies you that you will get a citation for speaking on a phone while in this school zone says they find up to $200. [01:25:06.000 --> 01:25:20.000] When I was given the citation and opened it up, and it shows you a piece of paper with all your fines and everything, it said that my fine would cost $375. [01:25:20.000 --> 01:25:34.000] Now, this may sound just like a dumb question, but I'm just curious if there's anything I can do about that, or if that's right or wrong. [01:25:34.000 --> 01:25:41.000] Well, it's wrong on multiple levels, but the question is just exactly how hard do you want to fight? [01:25:41.000 --> 01:25:53.000] Jason, my husband just beat a talking on the phone in the school zone ticket. And he was a lot of work, but he did it. And he used Eddie's documents and Eddie's teachings. [01:25:53.000 --> 01:26:01.000] I highly recommend going to Eddie's class and getting his traffic seminar, because my husband just beat that exact ticket. [01:26:01.000 --> 01:26:08.000] Okay. And I am a new listener, so this is, you know, I don't know a lot about this seminar. [01:26:08.000 --> 01:26:24.000] If you want to hear exactly how my husband beat the ticket, and again, you would need to go to Eddie's classes and get his documents and get his course and everything, or at least go to his classes and buy some of his materials in order to do what my husband, Jerry, did. [01:26:24.000 --> 01:26:39.000] But if you want to get an overview of what Jerry did, you can go to our archives page, go to ruleoflawradio.com, and click on the archives, and click on our shows, archives, rule of law 2011, and scroll back. [01:26:39.000 --> 01:26:51.000] I believe it was about a month ago, and you'll see it says, special guest Jerry Stevens, something about, talking about being a traffic ticket, and listen to that archive. [01:26:51.000 --> 01:26:56.000] Okay, I will do that. And Eddie, Eddie, what else did you have? [01:26:56.000 --> 01:27:06.000] Well, I mean, does your phone, is yours a smartphone? Yes, it is. Does it play MP3s? Yes, it does. [01:27:06.000 --> 01:27:13.000] Then what is to say that you weren't listening to a rebroadcast of rule of law and an MP3 when they stopped you? [01:27:13.000 --> 01:27:21.000] Look at it, wrong question. What song were you listening to on your radio when he stopped you? [01:27:21.000 --> 01:27:33.000] Okay, well, that's a good point. And this is exactly why I'm calling you. Like I said, I'm a new listener, and I'm very interested in this, in your show, and I really appreciate what y'all do. [01:27:33.000 --> 01:27:37.000] Have you had your first appearance yet? Did you just get this ticket? [01:27:37.000 --> 01:27:50.000] Well, it's just happened not too long ago, and I'm not pursuing anything until I find out some more information on what I can do. I haven't even called them. [01:27:50.000 --> 01:27:55.000] Well, what is the appearance date on your ticket? When are you supposed to appear? [01:27:55.000 --> 01:28:01.000] I do not know that exact date now. I'm unprepared, I guess. [01:28:01.000 --> 01:28:20.000] Okay, but look at the ticket and find out what the Honor Before date is, because that's when you're going to need to file some documents with the court Honor Before that date, some special appearance and motion to dismiss and things like this, and you need to get that from Eddie. [01:28:20.000 --> 01:28:25.000] Okay, and if it's past that time, then I mean, is there much of anything? [01:28:25.000 --> 01:28:29.000] Well, if it's past that time, they probably have a warrant for you. [01:28:29.000 --> 01:28:31.000] Okay. [01:28:31.000 --> 01:28:33.000] For failures to appear? [01:28:33.000 --> 01:28:42.000] Right. Okay, well, if that was to occur, would there be anything I could do? I mean, I don't know the exact date right now. [01:28:42.000 --> 01:28:48.000] Yeah, there is something you can do, but it's going to cost you money to do it. [01:28:48.000 --> 01:28:50.000] Right. [01:28:50.000 --> 01:29:02.000] Okay, well, I appreciate y'all very much, and I'm going to move into that and pursue this. [01:29:02.000 --> 01:29:04.000] All right, thank you, Jason. [01:29:04.000 --> 01:29:05.000] Thank you very much. [01:29:05.000 --> 01:29:06.000] Okay. [01:29:06.000 --> 01:29:07.000] Bye-bye. [01:29:07.000 --> 01:29:08.000] Bye-bye. [01:29:08.000 --> 01:29:15.000] All right, folks, if you'd like to call in and ask us a question, 512-646-1984. [01:29:15.000 --> 01:29:20.000] We've got about half an hour left. We're going now to Ronnie in Texas. [01:29:20.000 --> 01:29:23.000] Ronnie, thank you for calling in. What is your question or comment tonight? [01:29:23.000 --> 01:29:27.000] Well, thank you for answering. I've got actually two items. [01:29:27.000 --> 01:29:36.000] One has to be a ticket that I got, a pedestrian roadway city ordinance. [01:29:36.000 --> 01:29:39.000] Okay, wait. Hold on, Ronnie. We're about to go to break here. [01:29:39.000 --> 01:29:44.000] Just stay right there, and we will finish taking your question on the other side, okay? [01:29:44.000 --> 01:29:45.000] Thank you. [01:29:45.000 --> 01:29:48.000] Okay. All right, we've got Ronnie from Texas on the line. [01:29:48.000 --> 01:29:55.000] Folks, we don't have any other callers, so if you'd like to call in and ask us a question, 512-646-1984. [01:29:55.000 --> 01:29:59.000] Don't be shy, and don't wait till the last minute. We'll be right back. [01:29:59.000 --> 01:30:03.000] Top 10 reasons to question the official story of the Oklahoma City bombing. [01:30:03.000 --> 01:30:06.000] Reason number 10. What is on the surveillance tapes? [01:30:06.000 --> 01:30:09.000] There were many video surveillance cameras that recorded the morning of the bombing, [01:30:09.000 --> 01:30:13.000] yet the few of these that have been released do not show what transpired with the rider truck at the Murrow Building. [01:30:13.000 --> 01:30:18.000] Most recently, the government has claimed that all of the cameras that were in different buildings and maintained by different businesses [01:30:18.000 --> 01:30:22.000] were all having their tapes changed at the exact same time, 9.02 a.m. [01:30:22.000 --> 01:30:25.000] This is insulting to the memory of those who perished in the bombing. [01:30:25.000 --> 01:30:30.000] What is being hidden from us? For more information, please go to OKCBombingTruth.com. [01:30:33.000 --> 01:30:39.000] Michigan may soon require kids' body fat ratings to be sent to a state registry instead of to their parents. [01:30:39.000 --> 01:30:44.000] I'm Dr. Katharine Albrecht, and if this seems wrong to you, then you won't want to miss my next segment. [01:30:44.000 --> 01:30:50.000] Privacy is under attack. When you give up data about yourself, you'll never get it back again. [01:30:50.000 --> 01:30:55.000] And once your privacy is gone, you'll find your freedoms will start to vanish too. [01:30:55.000 --> 01:31:00.000] So protect your rights. Say no to surveillance and keep your information to yourself. [01:31:00.000 --> 01:31:03.000] Privacy. It's worth hanging on to. [01:31:03.000 --> 01:31:11.000] This public service announcement is brought to you by StartPage.com, the private search engine alternative to Google, Yahoo, and Bing. [01:31:11.000 --> 01:31:14.000] Start over with StartPage. [01:31:14.000 --> 01:31:22.000] Like much of the country, Michigan has an obesity problem. 65% of adults and 12% of kids are considered overweight. [01:31:22.000 --> 01:31:29.000] But now Governor Rick Snyder plans to require children to get weight screenings and have their body fat ratings sent to a state registry [01:31:29.000 --> 01:31:34.000] rather than to their own parents. That's right, if a kid's weight passes a certain threshold, [01:31:34.000 --> 01:31:39.000] children and their parents will get called in by a doctor to discuss the weight problem. [01:31:39.000 --> 01:31:44.000] Meanwhile, the child's medical profile will be closely monitored by big government, big brother. [01:31:44.000 --> 01:31:50.000] Nobody's encouraging obesity here, but what's next? Taking kids away from their parents if they don't lose the weight? [01:31:50.000 --> 01:32:00.000] I'm Dr. Catherine Albrecht. More news and information at CatherineAlbrecht.com. [01:32:20.000 --> 01:32:32.000] Okay, folks, we are back. We are taking your calls. We've got a number of calls on the board here. [01:32:32.000 --> 01:32:39.000] Right now we are talking to Ronnie in Texas. Okay, Ronnie, sorry, you got cut off by the break just now. [01:32:39.000 --> 01:32:43.000] Please continue. Tell us about this ticket. [01:32:43.000 --> 01:32:51.000] Okay, it was happening, it's called pedestrian in roadways city ordinance. [01:32:51.000 --> 01:32:59.000] What happened was it was Halloween night in 6th Street, which might be known around the world here in Austin. [01:32:59.000 --> 01:33:10.000] It's kind of a party location. Well, they weren't actually sectioning it off like they always do. [01:33:10.000 --> 01:33:16.000] It was a little early for that, but I happened to be just barely in the... [01:33:16.000 --> 01:33:22.000] I'm carrying a sign. I'm a political sign. I'm a Ron Paul enthusiast. I always carry my Ron Paul sign. [01:33:22.000 --> 01:33:29.000] And as it turns out, the trees were in the way. I couldn't really carry my sign on the sidewalk. [01:33:29.000 --> 01:33:40.000] So I happened to be one foot in the street and one foot on the street on the sidewalk side. [01:33:40.000 --> 01:33:44.000] And the cop just waved me over and just gave me a ticket. [01:33:44.000 --> 01:33:52.000] You know, they have a quorum or they have a certain number they have to get per day, especially that day. [01:33:52.000 --> 01:34:00.000] And they just decided to do it to me and I was, you know, not in the way of any car, no impending car. [01:34:00.000 --> 01:34:06.000] All the cars were few and far between because they knew the street was about to be shut down. [01:34:06.000 --> 01:34:11.000] So it was just an harassment action, really. [01:34:11.000 --> 01:34:15.000] And it was, I think, because I was carrying a Ron Paul sign. [01:34:15.000 --> 01:34:24.000] And so I'm going to find it. I've already got a court date and that is Monday. [01:34:24.000 --> 01:34:35.000] And I'm wondering what I should do or they tell me that I'm scheduled on Monday at the downtown Austin Community Court. [01:34:35.000 --> 01:34:44.000] And any request for delay of trial date must be submitted 72 hours prior, but I don't think I want to do that. [01:34:44.000 --> 01:34:54.000] But that's kind of a minor issue. I was pretty called on the other main thing that's going on. [01:34:54.000 --> 01:35:01.000] But can I maybe just spread that out and tell you what that is? [01:35:01.000 --> 01:35:08.000] To get to decide what you want to talk about. [01:35:08.000 --> 01:35:10.000] Eddie, you want to pick this up? You want me to? [01:35:10.000 --> 01:35:15.000] Go ahead. Because I'm still trying to not knowing everything to do downtown. [01:35:15.000 --> 01:35:18.000] I mean, I'm relatively new here. I was spending a lot of time downtown at night. [01:35:18.000 --> 01:35:21.000] So I don't know what the normal activities down there are. [01:35:21.000 --> 01:35:29.000] Okay. What did the officer claim? Okay, what did he cite you for specifically? [01:35:29.000 --> 01:35:35.000] Well, it wasn't really, it wasn't at night. Well, it was just barely getting to be at night. [01:35:35.000 --> 01:35:38.000] It was on the Halloween evening. [01:35:38.000 --> 01:35:47.000] No, no, no. Don't go through all of those details again. What did he cite you for? [01:35:47.000 --> 01:35:50.000] What was the actual charge? [01:35:50.000 --> 01:35:59.000] Violation is pedestrian in roadway slash city ordinance. [01:35:59.000 --> 01:36:05.000] Have you seen the ordinance that that's supposed to refer to? [01:36:05.000 --> 01:36:14.000] Well, I'm sorry to say I haven't read the specific ordinance, but I was hardly in the street at most half. [01:36:14.000 --> 01:36:17.000] No, wait a minute. Hold on. You can't say that yet. [01:36:17.000 --> 01:36:18.000] Okay. [01:36:18.000 --> 01:36:26.000] You don't know what the ordinance is, so you don't know how to argue whether you were in violation or not. [01:36:26.000 --> 01:36:27.000] Okay. [01:36:27.000 --> 01:36:34.000] So were you moving? Were you walking? Or were you just standing in one place? What were you doing? [01:36:34.000 --> 01:36:46.000] I was walking down the street on the sidewalk, but you had to step off because of what you were carrying. [01:36:46.000 --> 01:36:51.000] So it wasn't like you were standing there in this one spot waving the sign. [01:36:51.000 --> 01:36:55.000] No, no, I was moving down the street and I had to step off. [01:36:55.000 --> 01:36:58.000] You need to file criminal charges against the officer. [01:36:58.000 --> 01:36:59.000] For what? [01:36:59.000 --> 01:37:06.000] For official oppression. He wants to file, you should file. [01:37:06.000 --> 01:37:20.000] So the police are saying you cannot travel unimpeded, that if anyone is traveling and their foot touches the street, they can be arrested. [01:37:20.000 --> 01:37:23.000] That has to be his position. [01:37:23.000 --> 01:37:26.000] You need to read the statute. [01:37:26.000 --> 01:37:29.000] Go down to the court. [01:37:29.000 --> 01:37:52.000] If you have to go sit in, when they're having the court, go sit in the courtroom and call the bailiff over and tell the bailiff to tell the judge, tell the bailiff what your name is, and have him tell the judge you have business with the court. [01:37:52.000 --> 01:37:57.000] And the bailiff will ask you what the nature of the business is. [01:37:57.000 --> 01:38:00.000] Tell him I have business with the court and it's none of yours. [01:38:00.000 --> 01:38:02.000] Go sit down. [01:38:02.000 --> 01:38:06.000] And that'll make the judge curious. [01:38:06.000 --> 01:38:11.000] And telling that you have this citation that doesn't make any sense. [01:38:11.000 --> 01:38:24.000] Since you are learning counsel and you're required to come to this court, I need to know what I'm being charged with. Will you tell me what this is? Get the judge to refuse. [01:38:24.000 --> 01:38:28.000] So now you have no nature in cause. [01:38:28.000 --> 01:38:32.000] Because they just said walking in the pedestrian in the street. [01:38:32.000 --> 01:38:38.000] And so far as I know, it's not illegal for a pedestrian to be in the street. [01:38:38.000 --> 01:38:42.000] Unless he's walking down the middle of the street obstructing traffic. [01:38:42.000 --> 01:38:45.000] So you have no idea what you're charged with. [01:38:45.000 --> 01:38:52.000] And if you wait until you're forced to go to court, then you have no way of defending yourself in court. [01:38:52.000 --> 01:38:54.000] You have no way of arguing your position. [01:38:54.000 --> 01:38:56.000] You have no idea what's going on. [01:38:56.000 --> 01:38:58.000] So go down there and try to find out what it is. [01:38:58.000 --> 01:39:08.000] Don't tell you, ask a clerk or somebody or ask a bailiff to ask the prosecutor if they refuse to tell you. [01:39:08.000 --> 01:39:10.000] They didn't tell the bailiff to tell the judge you have business with the court. [01:39:10.000 --> 01:39:14.000] That's a lot of fun. I've done that before. It makes him crazy. [01:39:14.000 --> 01:39:26.000] Well, it sounds great. I hate to admit this, but I've waited until my court appearances do Monday morning at 9.30. [01:39:26.000 --> 01:39:28.000] Oh, okay. [01:39:28.000 --> 01:39:35.000] You waited until Monday at 9.30 and you're calling us tonight when you've had since October to read this ordinance? [01:39:35.000 --> 01:39:37.000] That's planning ahead, don't you think? [01:39:37.000 --> 01:39:39.000] I'm sorry, I mean... [01:39:39.000 --> 01:39:44.000] Okay, take your right hand and hold it next to your face and smack yourself. [01:39:44.000 --> 01:39:47.000] And knock some sense into yourself. [01:39:47.000 --> 01:39:50.000] I understand it's... [01:39:50.000 --> 01:39:55.000] We hate to do stuff we don't like, so we put it off to the last minute. [01:39:55.000 --> 01:40:03.000] But go down tomorrow and see if you can find out specifically what ordinances you're being charged with. [01:40:03.000 --> 01:40:04.000] Okay. [01:40:04.000 --> 01:40:12.000] And it's a little late for us to help you develop a good argument. [01:40:12.000 --> 01:40:23.000] Eddie's research on this particular court will bring up a number of good arguments, but you don't have time to learn what they are. [01:40:23.000 --> 01:40:25.000] Yeah, well, I'm real sorry. [01:40:25.000 --> 01:40:29.000] And practice isn't really the thing to talk about. [01:40:29.000 --> 01:40:36.000] What is most important is that the City of Boston has thrown me out of... [01:40:36.000 --> 01:40:48.000] I cannot even enter the City Hall because of the way I choose to pronounce my name, which is somewhat outrageous, but it's a way... [01:40:48.000 --> 01:40:53.000] You can't enter City Hall because of the way you pronounce your name? [01:40:53.000 --> 01:40:55.000] It's bizarre that... [01:40:55.000 --> 01:40:57.000] Well, Eddie, Randi, Randi, let me... [01:40:57.000 --> 01:41:00.000] You don't pronounce it, hey, I got a bomb, do you? [01:41:00.000 --> 01:41:02.000] Randi, let me explain something here. [01:41:02.000 --> 01:41:08.000] Okay, this isn't even so much about how I pronounce his name, and we don't even need to go into all of that on the air right now. [01:41:08.000 --> 01:41:16.000] What the point is, is that because of these occupiers down there, what is happening now is that anytime... [01:41:16.000 --> 01:41:26.000] Any of our City so-called officials decide that they don't want somebody participating or speaking in a City Council meeting, [01:41:26.000 --> 01:41:34.000] even if they're waiting in line and doing it properly or being on the property or whatever, they'll just tell people... [01:41:34.000 --> 01:41:42.000] They'll just get the cops to tell people, you're not allowed to come back here for a year, and if you do, you're going to get arrested, [01:41:42.000 --> 01:41:48.000] and then people are afraid, and then they won't go because they don't want to get arrested, [01:41:48.000 --> 01:41:54.000] and then have to fight it because they don't know how, and then they can't hire a lawyer, and they don't want to go to jail and all these things. [01:41:54.000 --> 01:41:59.000] And then what they'll do is they'll send them a letter a couple of months later and say, [01:41:59.000 --> 01:42:03.000] well, how about this, we'll have an administrative hearing on the matter. [01:42:03.000 --> 01:42:09.000] Will you agree to this administrative hearing to see if we want to let you back on the property or not? [01:42:09.000 --> 01:42:16.000] But there's never been a charge, there's never been a charge of trespassing, anything official, nothing, it's just sheer intimidation. [01:42:16.000 --> 01:42:20.000] I don't know if this is what happened to Ronnie, but I know this has been happening to a lot of people. [01:42:20.000 --> 01:42:26.000] Okay, let me give you a really interesting criminal statute. [01:42:26.000 --> 01:42:31.000] I think if I remember right, it's 21.07. [01:42:31.000 --> 01:42:36.000] It's called making a terroristic threat. [01:42:36.000 --> 01:42:46.000] If you threaten someone for the purpose of denying them access to a public building or interrupting their access to a public building, [01:42:46.000 --> 01:42:50.000] that is a terroristic threat. [01:42:50.000 --> 01:42:58.000] I had a judge once run into his own courtroom while I was standing there talking to his bailiff, [01:42:58.000 --> 01:43:06.000] and he said, Mr. Kelton, you're causing a disturbance, you get out of this courthouse or I'll have you arrested. [01:43:06.000 --> 01:43:10.000] And I said, oh, geez, judge, I'm sorry. [01:43:10.000 --> 01:43:17.000] I reached in my pocket and pulled out this little digital recorder and pushed a button, turned it on and stuck it right in his face and said, [01:43:17.000 --> 01:43:19.000] I didn't have this turned on. [01:43:19.000 --> 01:43:25.000] You say that again, and he stood there breathing heavy looking at me and I know what he's thinking. [01:43:25.000 --> 01:43:30.000] That darn prosecutor, he didn't tell me everything, and that's right, he did. [01:43:30.000 --> 01:43:33.000] Well, they'll actually get a letter. [01:43:33.000 --> 01:43:37.000] These people that this happens to actually get a letter, so we've got plenty of evidence. [01:43:37.000 --> 01:43:43.000] Listen, Ronnie, we've got to let you go because we're coming up on our final segment and we've got a couple other callers on the line, [01:43:43.000 --> 01:43:45.000] but keep us posted, okay? [01:43:45.000 --> 01:43:48.000] All right, thank you. [01:43:48.000 --> 01:43:50.000] We'll be right back, folks. [01:43:50.000 --> 01:43:56.000] This is the rule of law now on LogosRadioNetwork.com. We'll be right back. [01:44:00.000 --> 01:44:03.000] Hey, did you hear? Ron Paul has announced he's running for president in 2012. [01:44:03.000 --> 01:44:04.000] Hey, this is Ron Paul. [01:44:04.000 --> 01:44:10.000] Really? Okay, put down the cell phone for one minute. Your friends really don't care about your Twitter updates on what you had for breakfast. [01:44:10.000 --> 01:44:13.000] Oh, but I'd love to make those little smiley faces with punctuation marks. [01:44:13.000 --> 01:44:14.000] Of course you do. [01:44:14.000 --> 01:44:20.000] Now, listen closely. You need to go down to Brave New Books and learn as much as you can about Ron Paul and his message before it's too late. [01:44:20.000 --> 01:44:23.000] They have all of his books and many of the books he talks about. [01:44:23.000 --> 01:44:28.000] They also have t-shirts, bumper stickers, and yard signs so that you can show your support for him during the campaign. [01:44:28.000 --> 01:44:31.000] Brave New Books? Do they have Harry Potter and Twilight? [01:46:29.000 --> 01:46:37.000] Yes, so Randy, this is a very prevailing phenomenon that's happening downtown now. [01:46:37.000 --> 01:46:47.000] If AC Council member decides that they don't like your public input, I mean, I'm concerned something like this could happen to the members of Florida Free Austin [01:46:47.000 --> 01:46:52.000] because they're trying so hard to get this poison out of our water. [01:46:52.000 --> 01:46:54.000] They've been doing it to the occupiers. [01:46:54.000 --> 01:47:03.000] Basically, it's just sheer intimidation, and these people do actually get some kind of a letter from inside the city building. [01:47:03.000 --> 01:47:08.000] I haven't seen one yet, but basically the story that I've been getting from everybody is this. [01:47:08.000 --> 01:47:13.000] Somebody inside decides they don't want you on the property anymore, [01:47:13.000 --> 01:47:22.000] and instead of actually having you charge with trespassing, which I don't see how you can trespass on public property anyway, [01:47:22.000 --> 01:47:32.000] unless there is a court order against you, some kind of restraining order by the courts forbidding you to enter onto the City Hall property. [01:47:32.000 --> 01:47:37.000] I don't see how you could get charged with trespassing at all, so they know they can't do that. [01:47:37.000 --> 01:47:45.000] So what they do is they just get some kind of a letter from somebody inside when they decide they don't want you around anymore [01:47:45.000 --> 01:47:52.000] and have one of the police officers give it to the person, and so there's actually a case number. [01:47:52.000 --> 01:48:02.000] It's some sort of city administrative case number, and it says you're not allowed on this on city property anymore and less, you know, period. [01:48:02.000 --> 01:48:04.000] You're not allowed on city property anymore. [01:48:04.000 --> 01:48:09.000] If you come on city property within the next year, you're going to get arrested for trespassing, [01:48:09.000 --> 01:48:15.000] and so everyone's like, oh, no, well, I guess I can't go to the City Hall anymore because they don't want to get arrested [01:48:15.000 --> 01:48:22.000] and then have to fight it, and they don't know how to fight it without actually getting arrested on this bogus charge. [01:48:22.000 --> 01:48:29.000] And so then they get another letter a few months later from the same city staffer saying, [01:48:29.000 --> 01:48:34.000] you all have an administrative hearing on the matter, and basically it's like a kangaroo court and you go in there [01:48:34.000 --> 01:48:39.000] and you promise to be good and you promise to do whatever they say and you promise to lick their boots, [01:48:39.000 --> 01:48:44.000] and then they'll say, okay, you're a good, you know, good little slave. [01:48:44.000 --> 01:48:46.000] You get to come to City Hall again. [01:48:46.000 --> 01:48:54.000] It's just totally madness, and people don't know how to fight it without actually going ahead and violating this bogus letter, [01:48:54.000 --> 01:48:59.000] and then they have to get arrested and then they have to fight the bogus charge and it's just a pain in the butt [01:48:59.000 --> 01:49:02.000] and so that's why the intimidation is working. [01:49:02.000 --> 01:49:06.000] So we need to have a solution for these people, and yeah, criminal charges is one thing, [01:49:06.000 --> 01:49:11.000] but I mean, there's got to be something else too, some kind of a lawsuit that can come down over this. [01:49:11.000 --> 01:49:19.000] So something to think about, Randy, I mean, what are the solutions can we have for these people [01:49:19.000 --> 01:49:25.000] that this is happening to other than filing a criminal charge against the police or the city staff [01:49:25.000 --> 01:49:30.000] or can they go ahead and do they have standing at that point to file a lawsuit? [01:49:30.000 --> 01:49:32.000] Yes, due process violation. [01:49:32.000 --> 01:49:34.000] That's what I thought. [01:49:34.000 --> 01:49:36.000] You know, people, this is the bottom line. [01:49:36.000 --> 01:49:43.000] This is what we've been telling people that call in with these stories for the last several weeks and months. [01:49:43.000 --> 01:49:51.000] Nothing is going to change until we sue these rogues into Kingdom Come. [01:49:51.000 --> 01:49:57.000] Okay, we are going to have to sue them into oblivion or else nothing is going to change. [01:49:57.000 --> 01:50:00.000] Just putting on a defense is not good enough. [01:50:00.000 --> 01:50:07.000] Okay, for Matt and John to successfully defend against these bogus charges is not good enough. [01:50:07.000 --> 01:50:12.000] For people to successfully defend against these traffic tickets is not good enough. [01:50:12.000 --> 01:50:14.000] We're going to keep doing it. [01:50:14.000 --> 01:50:16.000] We have to sue them. [01:50:16.000 --> 01:50:20.000] We've got to make it sting or else they're not going to change. [01:50:20.000 --> 01:50:28.000] All right, now with that, before we go to the calls, I did get some emails and some message from my webmaster. [01:50:28.000 --> 01:50:33.000] There was a tiny glitch regarding the registration process. [01:50:33.000 --> 01:50:38.000] There have been a number of people tonight during the past hour or so, a couple of hours, [01:50:38.000 --> 01:50:43.000] and we decided to register to become members of the new website, logosforradionetwork.com, [01:50:43.000 --> 01:50:45.000] and they were not able to do so. [01:50:45.000 --> 01:50:46.000] We're on top of it. [01:50:46.000 --> 01:50:48.000] That's why we're saying this is a beta version. [01:50:48.000 --> 01:50:53.000] We're testing and we need you folks out there to help us test it and work out all the kinks. [01:50:53.000 --> 01:50:56.000] That issue has been resolved. [01:50:56.000 --> 01:51:03.000] So as of now, you can go ahead and register and that will be taken care of. [01:51:03.000 --> 01:51:05.000] Okay, we've got about seven minutes left. [01:51:05.000 --> 01:51:08.000] Call in 512-646-1984. [01:51:08.000 --> 01:51:10.000] We've got Anonymous in North America. [01:51:10.000 --> 01:51:12.000] Anonymous, thank you for calling in. [01:51:12.000 --> 01:51:14.000] What is your question for us tonight? [01:51:14.000 --> 01:51:26.000] Yeah, I was wondering how you can make a promise to appear in court based on a contingency to be set. [01:51:26.000 --> 01:51:30.000] Okay, you want to give us a little referential index? [01:51:30.000 --> 01:51:32.000] What does that mean? [01:51:32.000 --> 01:51:36.000] Any kind of citation you get down here, they always give you a court date. [01:51:36.000 --> 01:51:41.000] It says to be set. [01:51:41.000 --> 01:51:46.000] Well, it depends on what you're referring to as the court date and what the purpose of the court date is. [01:51:46.000 --> 01:51:48.000] Okay, where is down here? [01:51:48.000 --> 01:51:50.000] What state? [01:51:50.000 --> 01:51:53.000] Country of Florida. [01:51:53.000 --> 01:52:06.000] Okay, I'm not that up on the technicalities of the law in Florida, but if it's similar to all of the other states, [01:52:06.000 --> 01:52:18.000] the citation would have to either give you a date to appear or a place to appear on or before a certain time. [01:52:18.000 --> 01:52:28.000] No, they always put, and then date it says to, in the time, they write in manually to be set. [01:52:28.000 --> 01:52:40.000] Do they order you to, okay, so you're ordered to appear, but not at a specific time yet, so do they notice you at the time to appear? [01:52:40.000 --> 01:52:41.000] No, they don't. [01:52:41.000 --> 01:52:46.000] They just put to be set on the time and date on the citation or ticket or whatever you have. [01:52:46.000 --> 01:52:50.000] Okay, so you haven't agreed to appear until a time has been set. [01:52:50.000 --> 01:52:57.000] If they don't have set a time for you to appear, then they can hardly, they can never, ever charge you with failure to appear. [01:52:57.000 --> 01:53:08.000] Well, the problem is, every time you sign that agreement to appear and a time to be set, they'll send you the correct address, [01:53:08.000 --> 01:53:12.000] but they'll put it like in a different city, so you don't show up. [01:53:12.000 --> 01:53:18.000] In other words, you don't get it, you get a warrant out, and that's how they do it down here. [01:53:18.000 --> 01:53:25.000] Okay, you're saying that everybody does it that way, or is this just something that has happened? [01:53:25.000 --> 01:53:33.000] Well, the last three times they did it to me, they always put a different town or a different city, but the correct address, [01:53:33.000 --> 01:53:40.000] and that way you get a warrant out and you end up getting arrested for not appearing when you never notice to appear. [01:53:40.000 --> 01:53:47.000] Okay, then did you take any action against them for it? [01:53:47.000 --> 01:53:49.000] No, I didn't know how, so... [01:53:49.000 --> 01:53:52.000] Well, you've got to sue them. [01:53:52.000 --> 01:53:54.000] Charge them with false imprisonment. [01:53:54.000 --> 01:53:59.000] If you don't fight back, they can do anything you want to. [01:53:59.000 --> 01:54:05.000] Is there any way to get out of this signing a promise to appear on the paper? [01:54:05.000 --> 01:54:10.000] One of the... No, you can't get out of signing the promise to appear, [01:54:10.000 --> 01:54:21.000] but certainly you can make the warrants go away and you can file a charge against the court [01:54:21.000 --> 01:54:29.000] whoever issued the warrant for false imprisonment, send that to a grand jury, [01:54:29.000 --> 01:54:35.000] cause them a little problem. If you don't cause them some problem, what do they care? [01:54:35.000 --> 01:54:40.000] What do they care what they do to you? They don't care if you spend a night or two in jail. [01:54:40.000 --> 01:54:47.000] Nothing happens to them. Their life is easier. They don't have to bother with all this. [01:54:47.000 --> 01:54:52.000] If you don't, that promise to appear, what can they do to you? [01:54:52.000 --> 01:54:59.000] You can put you in jail or take you straight to jail. That's what they do. [01:54:59.000 --> 01:55:03.000] That contingent that may not happen. [01:55:03.000 --> 01:55:07.000] Wait a minute. I didn't understand that. I don't understand what your point is. [01:55:07.000 --> 01:55:12.000] You're saying they're doing something that's absolutely totally illegal. [01:55:12.000 --> 01:55:17.000] I think what he's trying to say, Randy, is that how can you promise to appear [01:55:17.000 --> 01:55:22.000] when they're not telling you what date the court date is? [01:55:22.000 --> 01:55:27.000] How can you promise to appear on a certain date when you don't even know what the date is? [01:55:27.000 --> 01:55:30.000] You may have surgery scheduled for that date. [01:55:30.000 --> 01:55:38.000] You can promise to appear at a date to be set. When you get bailed out of jail, [01:55:38.000 --> 01:55:44.000] you promise to appear from time to time as the court directs. [01:55:44.000 --> 01:55:48.000] That's already well settled in law. You can do that. [01:55:48.000 --> 01:55:53.000] The thing is, if they set a court date and you can't make it, [01:55:53.000 --> 01:55:57.000] you've got plenty of time to file a motion for continuance and explain your reasons [01:55:57.000 --> 01:56:01.000] of why you can't appear on that specific date. Randy's right. [01:56:01.000 --> 01:56:05.000] When you're engaged in litigation, especially when you're a defendant in a criminal case [01:56:05.000 --> 01:56:10.000] and you're out on bail, you've already promised to appear at whatever court date [01:56:10.000 --> 01:56:14.000] they schedule for you, period. If they're not convenient for you, [01:56:14.000 --> 01:56:16.000] if you have other things that you have to do on a particular date, [01:56:16.000 --> 01:56:20.000] you just file a motion for continuance and explain why. [01:56:20.000 --> 01:56:26.000] If they don't give you proper notice, that's a whole separation. [01:56:26.000 --> 01:56:28.000] Yeah, they have to give you proper notice, too. [01:56:28.000 --> 01:56:32.000] They can't just schedule a hearing and say, you've got to come tomorrow. [01:56:32.000 --> 01:56:37.000] If you don't get noticed, one of the things that will get something overturned [01:56:37.000 --> 01:56:44.000] quicker than about anything else is for you to come in and claim that lack of notice. [01:56:44.000 --> 01:56:45.000] That's what I did. [01:56:45.000 --> 01:56:55.000] If you have more than one occurrence of the city sending the mailing to the wrong address, [01:56:55.000 --> 01:56:59.000] if the two addresses weren't the same addresses, [01:56:59.000 --> 01:57:06.000] that's prima facie evidence of a deliberate act or gross negligence. [01:57:06.000 --> 01:57:13.000] In either case, since it resulted in your arrest, that can be a criminal act. [01:57:13.000 --> 01:57:18.000] And it clearly is a violation of due process, which would make it nice to do. [01:57:18.000 --> 01:57:19.000] It's not that difficult. [01:57:19.000 --> 01:57:26.000] Write a letter to the city manager or to the city attorney telling them [01:57:26.000 --> 01:57:31.000] that you were falsely arrested because the city sent notice to the wrong address, [01:57:31.000 --> 01:57:36.000] then falsely imprisoned you and you were harmed in this amount. [01:57:36.000 --> 01:57:38.000] Make me hold to be sued. [01:57:38.000 --> 01:57:41.000] Good chance they're not going to want you to file a suit against them. [01:57:41.000 --> 01:57:46.000] And most likely they'll say, oh, we didn't do anything wrong. [01:57:46.000 --> 01:57:52.000] You go down to a local small claims court and file a $5,000 suit against them. [01:57:52.000 --> 01:57:54.000] Cost you like $60. [01:57:54.000 --> 01:58:02.000] Falsely imprisonment and almost every municipality and county waives their sovereign need [01:58:02.000 --> 01:58:05.000] for falsely prisoner. [01:58:05.000 --> 01:58:07.000] And you can tell them for it. [01:58:07.000 --> 01:58:13.000] And most likely they'll write you a check to get you to go away so they don't have to do this. [01:58:13.000 --> 01:58:15.000] This is Randy Kelton. [01:58:15.000 --> 01:58:18.000] He's in a career review of your radio. [01:58:18.000 --> 01:58:20.000] We are running out of time. [01:58:20.000 --> 01:58:23.000] My how fast the time goes when you're having fun. [01:58:23.000 --> 01:58:25.000] Yes, and I have a quick announcement I have to make. [01:58:25.000 --> 01:58:26.000] I'm sorry. [01:58:26.000 --> 01:58:29.000] I did not document the night that Jerry was on. [01:58:29.000 --> 01:58:30.000] I thought I did. [01:58:30.000 --> 01:58:31.000] I'm sorry, folks. [01:58:31.000 --> 01:58:32.000] I just have a million things to do. [01:58:32.000 --> 01:58:37.000] I think it was either November 14th or November 28th. [01:58:37.000 --> 01:58:41.000] But I'm going to have to go back and listen to some of the archives and figure out which night it is. [01:58:41.000 --> 01:58:43.000] So I do apologize for that. [01:58:43.000 --> 01:58:48.000] I thought I had documented that, but I will get that documented as soon as possible tonight. [01:58:48.000 --> 01:58:49.000] All right. [01:58:49.000 --> 01:58:50.000] Sorry. [01:58:50.000 --> 01:58:52.000] Randy, go ahead. [01:58:52.000 --> 01:58:54.000] Thank you for listening. [01:58:54.000 --> 01:58:57.000] We'll be back tomorrow night in our four-hour marathon. [01:58:57.000 --> 01:59:23.000] Good night. [01:59:27.000 --> 01:59:29.000] We'll be back tomorrow night. [01:59:57.000 --> 01:59:59.000] F-A dot O-R-G.
